I gotta say, this is probably one of the most informative videos of how a racing seat should fit a person and how the measurements should be. This could almost be used as a safety learning tutorial on how to properly set a person to their seat, if that wasn't the intention already. Awesome video! I ran a Butlerbuilt seat when I use to race, (a base seat) but I always liked how it fit me. We had a custom built one in our other car that our driver bought at a NASCAR shop auction and it fit him like a glove. Nothing but good things about those seats.

We race down here n fla but I moved up there n worked for Brian for a few years.. I use to make the sprint car head foam mainly but this was back n 04-05 good people at butler built.. wonder if buzzy is still there or guy named Gary been years..

The most informative AND encouraging piece of information is Jesse's admission of his hand flailing style of driving. With a Butler Built seat and the right steering box ratio, that will settle down and he'll be going to the front of Hunt The Front!

I would recommend doing for Jesse. Is what Tanner Holmes has for his seat, which is to pour a mold for an insert. That way all that has to be done is remove the insert for someone else to get into the car to sit in it.
MC2P IS carbon fibre. they are rigid panels made of up of a 3 layer co-extrusion of carbon fibre/core/carbon fibre., and are used to make body panels, splitters, splitter underlays, interior door liners, leg braces, skid blocks, skid rails and more. A 24"X52"X1/8" panel is around $100. The core is commonly aluminum.

Hey y’all I’m thinking about buying a car and I need some advice. I can’t decide between asphalt late model, 305 sprint, or ump modified. Which one would be the most fun?
That my friend is a hard question that only you can answer! No racing is cheap so get that out of your head. Which one can you do more of where you live? And also where is your heart? Does one speak to you more then the others? Also ask your support group. This isn’t a one man show! lol And remember as time goes on, you can do them all! Good luck brother and god bless
First you need to ask yourself which style of racing you truly enjoy. Once that question is answered, Take a look at how many tracks you have locally to race at and whats within a hour or 2 distance from you. (Long distance racing is expensive) From there look again to see if thats the racing you truly want. Go watch a few races maybe even try and talk to a few racers about how they feel about the local racing week end and week out. (Not alot will talk cost with you) Once you have all that info, dive into finding out startup cost and whether you have to buy used to start or if you can afford new. At that point Ask yourself again if thats what you truly want to do. If your still itching to race at that point pull the plug and make your purchases and get into practices shake your car out and learn how to drive the tracks your going to run. I will say this dont expect to buy top notch equipment and go win immediately. Usually theres 1 in 100k that has the natural gift to race up front there first year out. Usually take 3 to 5 years to get comfortable racing locally. But good locuk and hope to see you at a race track real soon tearing it up with the rest of us.
