I was there live. This was the first really good band that performed and the energy in the stadium and performance was incredible. I really enjoyed it. Great job guys! 11:30 was incredible to watch. I'm also not sure if you guys can see because of the camera, but at the end when the lights turn off, they turn on their light-up shoes which is why they have completely white shoes instead of white spats and black shoes.

Don’t waste time responding to hate. Some opinions here are genuine and can be respected but we all know certain people can’t stand when Gram does it well, does it big or even does it at all. There is a DEEP-seeded hate for Gram and it’s unfortunate for those who feel that way. NO BAND sees the amount of hate Gram does and these students and directors push through no matter what.
The fact GSU has a dance routine the whole show, even while their dancers are dancing, during their drills, and not just break downs definitely sets them apart from all other bands...Great job

Reminds me of a classic GSU show from the old school. Brung back bad mamma jamma. Brung back I been searching. Classic GSU songs. Btw those speakers had sound going everywhere from each band but good job WF good show. Plus the announcer need to stfu sometime he does the most not Leon but the dance routine one.
Aaron Buggs I was so pleased to see them go back to being them. I loved this show. Coming from a former sonic boom member.

ODC shine with brilliance...💎 💎 💎 💎 💎Large speakers on the 40 yard line blocked the Drum Majors dance for a while...no problem, Grambling's ENTIRE Band danced throughout this stunning performance (no one missed a beat). Absolutely love 💘 and sincerely respect and appreciate ALL of the superior Field Shows tonight...👏 🌹 🏆 for each University respectively. NEVER any losers when it comes to HBCU Show Bands, Directors, and Dancers long and sustained history and unique traditions. Thank you for posting!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Well I will say this!! Good show GSU. Tribute to the legendary director good job. Bringing back classic GSU Staples Dr Roebuck is doing a great job. Always remember no matter how well you do or how bad you do you'll still have a hater regardless no matter the band or fans. Good show GSU stay in the right direction. Dancers keep staying consistent damn good show WF. Remember ppl will try to hate either if it's on the band or dancers but that's typical let them more than likely the ones hating is at home and so is their program. Watching. Good job to all eight programs todaym
Dr. Roebuck was exactly the change they needed! She stepped into her role and delivered immediately! Probably the best transition and improvement I've ever seen in a single season.

Being that I marched in a MEAC band that was NOT in the FINAL 8, without bias, FAMU has one of the most clearest, distincted and quality sound ever. Must say though that in 1983 I had an interest in GSU. Back then, Conrad Hutchinson believed in this clear and quality sound concept. It is nice to see Dr. Nikole Roebuck bringing that legacy back to the GSU music program. Keep up the good work...

I hate when bands play inside inclosed spaces. No where for the sound to travel and really hear clearly. Plus all the commentators are annoying. Couldn't really enjoy none of the bands music but big props to my SWAC schools and all HBCUS❤️ AAMU BULLDOG

So even with the great improvement, I want Grambking to have lip slur work. The way their arrangements are, it will pplish off their sound and endurance much more. Overall great show. Entertaining as well. They didn't fall off after their W for Bayou Classic halftime

cadink1 I actually don’t watch them ever! But with them having the show I tuned in and like the ladies. With all the hard work and weekly auditions I thought every dance team had their spotlight. I get it’s a traditional and I appreciate the explanation but I don’t like the busyness of it 🤷🏽♀️
I must disagree. Having the entire band dance while ODC is featured, ruins the effect and is hella distracting. They work hard, let us see what they do without distractions.

March onto the field the exact same way, turn towards the endzones, every flank of eight people marches 2 steps behind the person to their right to form (get this) a diagonal line. March for 8 or 16 counts then turn around and March another 8 or 16 counts. Okay, wake me when it's over.😴😪
Not to mention no one takes a band seriously when they pull a bass drum on a children's wheelbarrow. **Yuck**🤢

Slow song formations dance routine block spelled gram. So yeah you sound stupid. Yet other bands simplydid same drill. Slow song then block band SAME FORMATION NOT GSU they pulled a variety of stuff.
