I have played harmonica, guitar and bass for 60 years. This flute is SO easy to play. Anyone with an ear for music can play any tune on it, except for sharps and flats. I bought a second one and tuned it up to the sharp notes. I attached the two together. I can even play Girl from Epanema on it! It's easy to re-tune by moving the rubber plugs up or down. I screw in a 3" wood screw to move the plugs. My lips tend to drag on the mouth piece, so I put a thin coat of coconut oil on it. I can, now, play fast as lightening! I play with backing tracks and other musicians, even jazz and blues. Great fun! Buy one, cheap! I enjoy your videos and your beautiful smile. Michael
Wow as you started hitting higher notes Birdie hubbys service dog began to sing.helloooooo!🦮..I love the pipes...your always so sweet and you can tell how much joy music gives you ...it beams from your face💝🌞.. Your the reason I bought all my adult children kalimbas and tongue drums..thanks for being you💝
This WM inspired me to make, what I call, a pan whistle. I made each pipe with a whistle style mouthpiece. There is no tuning plug. It is two octaves up from middle C. It's thin wall PVC and is 24" long and 15" wide. It is tuned in C, but is fully chromatic by 1/2 covering the end of a pipe for flats. Very easy to play any song in any key. Michael
I like how you have displayed your eclectic collection of instruments on your wall! Your attitude is awesome! I been binging the vids just to see what strange instruments come forth! Love it bubba! I've saved several on my amazon account after reviewing the sounds they produce! Awesome! Thank you for the work you put in it has been VERY helpful!
Since my last comment I have figured out how to bend notes on my WM flute. With practice, one may bend down to flat notes by lifting the flute up and your mouth down. I also use the harmonica bending technique along with this. I've played blues harp for 60 years. I can play the flat notes on Green Sleeves and many other songs. Michael
Would be helpful if the C and F pipes were indicated by color on the bottom of the pipes. The way harps have those strings colored. I know one can color those pipes themselves with nail polish, but it would be nicer and neater if the factory did it themselves.
Sounds very Lord of the Rings! Amazing sound on plastic pan pipes! How tricky is it to learn vibrato technique on wine instruments? I am a pianist and play on dulcimer and handpans, just recently getting into more recorders, as I teach them at a school. Haven't been able to figure out vibrato technique yet. Any quick thoughts?
Vibrato is relatively easy to learn. Start the sound, and then simply shake the instrument back and forth a very slight distance. That will vary the frequency of the sound slightly, which really what vibrato is. Look at a video of Los Indios Tabaharas on pan pipes. You will see that the artist moves the pipes enough for you observe. Vibrato can be used with any wind instrument. Give it a try.

Wow how cool! It sounds so whimsical!
So Good.
Yes I've wanted you to review a panflute
Check out the sound track to the movie "Far and Away".... Williams wrote for the pan pipes and a bagpipe like instrument. It is a great addition.
Really cool introduction to this pan flute! I also love the instrument. Thank you for your video.
