1980 from Blizzard of Ozz Drums: Lee Kerslake (April 16, 1947 - September 19, 2020) Bass: Bob Daisley Guitar: Randy Rhoads (December 6, 1956 - March 19, 1982)
So awesome to this day! Randy was way ahead of his time, no one had or even remotely compared to his sound and playing style, it was all unique to him. Funny thing is, I didn't listen to metal or rock at all when I was a freshman in high school back in 1982. I do remember his passing, it was big news with Ozzy fans. After graduation, I became the drummer of a few rock and metal bands until being forced to retire the sticks and playing due to 10 surgeries and ending up with small fiber neuropathy in both hands as well as both feet. I wish Randy was hear today with all the modern studios and equipment!!
Absolute MONSTER band, the greatest band ever assembled.......just a juggernaut.......
Historic recording In a Historic Studio By a Legendary group of Musicians Absolute Pure Gold
Randy, absolute genius, and Lee and Bob the perfect duo to carry the rhythm machine
