I am an English teacher (retired) and your English is very easy to understand. Thank you for a very informative lesson. I always had trouble ending my projects and this video really answered a lot of my questions. Thank you ! PS: The word you were looking for, where the thread passes through the loom is "slot" or "wooden slot".
Wow! Thank you so much for making this tutorial! I’m new to loom beading and have been struggling trying to figure out how to make the ends of my work look nice and be functional. This is just what I needed! Great video!
@@patbowman6723 Somewhat. But only through watching repeatedly and trying and pausing to rewind or catch up. I got much much more comfortable than when I commented here but it took awhile. My best advice to you is to keep watching different people teaching the same technique until you find the person who shows/explains what they’re doing in a way that clicks with you. This video clicked for me. I can passably get by now, which is a lot more than when I started. I was a complete beginner, no prior experience. And I’ve not been able to devote anytime at all to it for awhile because of work, 2 teenagers, and attempting college courses after almost a 20 year break! I think your comment might’ve been the nudge I needed to pick it up again though, I was looking at my beads and loom just a few nights ago. Thank you and good luck! Don’t give up! ☺️
@@arianafulford3171 You are so right. I have learned a lot but, I haven't ;earned how to start the gradual process yet. I will continue watching different beaders and hopefully I can find the answer. Thanks so much and happy beading to you.
Thank you! This is the first, and only, video I have found, that demonstrates a way to taper the ends of the bracelet. I have been so frustrated at the lack of information, on this. Not sure why they skip over this vital part. You are so wonderful to show your work, completely, and get us all "un-stuck" from this conundrum. So simple of a step, yet so secretive 😅. You are the best!
You put the threads in the same "groove" in English :) And I've always been a fan of the plaited braid ends. Thank you for this tutorial, it's very handy and I am grateful!

It seems to be nylon cord since the ends can be burned. A little more than 0.8 in thickness probably the next size or next few sizes up. Hope this helped! 😊
