Also, that ballet thing is a nice cover up~ But inviting the whole crew of them on a private cruise, that makes Bruce seem a bit jealous...
0:43 "Who appointed the Batman?"
idolizes a masked vigilante.
proud
elected officials
above the law
1:16 "suspend democracy"
1:33 "take up his mantel"
"I'm sold" too~ Good points! Also great foreshadowing for the ending... Кино
"It took me three weeks to get a reservation here"
*30 seconds later*
Bruce: "I own the place."
Harvey: Oh course you do
Usually as a kid you'd fast forward through parts like these but Nolan makes every conversation impactful and captures the essence of Batman mythos in such a real way. Love it.
which is?
Bale Batman: "One fundraiser with my pals, and you'll never need another cent."
Affleck Batman: "I'M RICH!"
Incredible how the main hero of a city becomes the villain so quick
Its wasn't that quick when you watch the movie. You see scenes where Harvey is willing to go outside the law in order to get the justice he envisions a few times like the interrogation scene.
I love Rachel's expressions here. She knows that Bruce isn't here by accident, so she looks pissed but is trying to hide it lol. Maggie's performance is underrated.
I'm pretty sure Bruce found out that Harvey was trying to get a seat in this restaurant. Then he bought it and got him a seat, so that he can come face to face with him and analyse him better. Greatest detective indeed.
Bruce Snow i think so too. Thats why he brought along a fine woman with him who could join in such discussions, not just some party girls to play his playboy billionaire image.
i love how batman went into this looking to try picking apart dent and show that hes not what everyone thinks he is but he is humbled and in awe at finally meeting a second person who is willing to fight injustice to the ends of the earth, just like gordon.
But he don't own Dorsia.
xD
J
*pull out bat credit cards*
he does now
nobody goes there anymore
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
this harvey dent was more tragic than the others, he believes in batman and the joker just mind fucked him.
"All it takes is one bad day".
Nayem Rahman amen to that.
@nayemrahman9987 "As you know, madness is like gravity...all it takes is a little push."
I love the hand gesture he does after he says he owns the place. The best part about being Batman is Bruce has the perfect excuse to act like a spoiled billionaire: so people will be none the wiser about him being a noble savior to the city
you either die a hero or u live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Metaphor
@33kaus holokaust you didn't?
0:45 Bruce says "well, I was raised here. I turned out okay"
Yeah right sure your did 😭😭
Natascha is so engaging, I kind of wish we had an entire movie about her
"Either you die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain."
That line is SO relevant today
They should, I own the place.
Like a Boss
*Bat Signal appears in the sky outside window*
Bruce: “Would you all please excuse me.”
Natasha: “Where are you going, Bruce?”
Rachel: “Yeah, where are you going, Bruce?”
Bruce: “I’ve gotta return some videotapes”
I understood that reference
I live for comments like these
You can see Heath Ledger next to Harvey's table
PrErNa ViJ that's not him
I wish mr Wayne could throw me s fundraiser
Béatrice Rosen from tpmp (Touche Pas A Mon Poste)
Bruce Wayne impressed by Harvey
Beatrice Rosen, who plays Bruce Wayne’s ballerina date also played Tamara in “2012”.
I don't know why Bruce expected and believed that Rachel loved him the way he did for her and actually wait when it was so clear in this scene that she was already moving on.
Because Bruce trust Rachel... He want to hear the truth from Rachel not anyone else.
The joker sitting behind dent at 1:04
Skinny Man wrong.
Justin Scott right you sum bitch
Incredible how far above these people are over ordinary citizens.
Exactly
Find someone will look at your the way Bruce looks at Harvey
0:41 oh they should. I am batman
Then he has them cancel the ballet performance so Harvey couldn't take Rachel
The Maiden That mostly for an alibi
Well, damn, laying it on thick there, Harvey.
Foreshadowing at it's best.
0:00 heath ledger bottom right
michael Collins wrong
Don't steal comments
Harvey Dent is Caesar before he crossed the rubicon
Harvey was never like Caesar or vice versa.
Caesar never deceived himself as standing for being just, moral, democratic, good etc. Right from the beginning he was driven by ambition and he didn't mind benefiting the public of Rome in the process.
Also, if you think the republicans were the good guys, think again. The republicans had far more in common with the families of the Cosa Nostra today. The republic, at Caesar's time was rife with corruption, mismanagement, a depleting middle class of landholders and consequently a vanishing Italian agriculture ... all so that the patrician families could satisfy their lust for land for large estates (manned largely by unpaid slaves). They weren't the bad guys but neither the good guys either.
Caesar was well loved by the people, not just for his honeyed words and spectacular shows, but also because he actually proposed reforms that intended to solve the systemic problems above, while the rest of the "oh so democratic" and "virtuous" senatorial nobility were busy preserving their little fiefdoms and lining their pockets left and right.
The only fault of Caesar was that vs. these guys and their petty corruptions and intrigues, he dreamed big and backed that up with actions.
When it comes to the story of Caesar, there are no good guys or bad guys. There are just winners and loser as far as his tale is concerned. And Caesar played and won big time, till he finally lost.
@@tiffles3890,in real life. There are rarely good or bad guys in such matters
I dont think they’ll let us join a few tables.
Im sure they will. I own the place..
Greatest line for longlife hero.......
you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain what ever harvey thinks its a bad outcome
He has the worst luck
I certainly hope not
Man i regret not able to watch this movie in imax.
Yop
Christian Bale played the role of Batman in The Dark Knight trilogy (2005-2012), where Harvey "Two Face" Dent eventually tells him the iconic phrase: "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". In Thor: Love and Thunder, Christian Bale plays the role of Gorr, coincidentally becoming the villain in his second appearance in a comic-based movie.
Is Wayne Manor in the city limits?
The Palisades? Yeah?
And we did see Bruce Wayne return back to gotham with the limited food he carried in The Dark knight rises
He should’ve invested in Dorsia.
I wonder if those donors got their money back.
i read it in quora that the guy sitting in the table to the right facing the camera at the beginning is actually Heath Ledger... do you think it could be him???
Yes.
Another Martini Paul?
i own the place. damn billionaire
Die a hero of long age
And Now she animated on french TV with Cyril Hanouna named TPMP. Incrédible Béatrice Rosen.
Beatrice Rosen. ❤❤❤
Béatrice Rosen❤️
Et mtn elle est chroniqueuse chez Cyril Hanouna mdrrrrr
Qui est là grâce à tpmp?
Can’t tell the difference between Bateman and Batman
We should really get money out of politics.
whoopsie
All of the foreshadowing in TDK is so unsubtle
But it's still a masterpiece, so...
+ThisIsNotHarvey That's not really a valid response.
George Hamilton Yet it's true.
+Foxtrot94 Sure, it's "true" that this movie is a masterpiece, but that's not a valid response to WhiteWolf_99's criticism.
It's a flaw of Nolan's. His complex plots usually have his dialogues feel mechanical.
In here, at least the pros far outweighs the cons, which is unfortunately not the case with 'Tenet'.
S2.
Roses are red violets are blue the woman's name is Natasha
I want the 4th film when Bruce and Rachel are getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bruce cute date
Don't ever let Trump watch this scene, he might believe himself as the Batman
lol . . . keep dreaming bud!
as long as you stay asleep, sure
sure . . . .
What the heck is this comment? My goodness.
lol I, for one, was just bored, talking shit about our very stable genius cheeto in chief
Foreshadowing penalty. Clumsy sentence. Seeding plotpoint. Makes no sense. Fifteen yards, repeat third down.
What?
Turbo9987 look an internet fuckwad in the RUclips comments who thinks he has any right to criticize Christopher Nolan. Along with 38 other imbeciles who probably felt clever liking his comment.
