Ashly’s incessant grudge against Brooke was probably the secret sign that she was doing something similar behind Tana’s back. It just wasn’t clear until now. It’s like when there are two people in a relationship and one always accuses the other one of cheating. But then ends up being the one who was the cheater all along. When you point the finger, there are 3 fingers pointing back at you, you know? There are probably many things that happened that maybe didn’t make sense or cause a second thought, and now Tana is putting all the pieces together like a puzzle as she mentioned. Ashly’s poor behaviour towards Brooke isn’t just because she mistreated Tana. I think it comes from a place of jealousy…I believe she feels threatened that Brooke “stole” her place in the friend group. That’s why she held a grudge for so long whilst everyone else moved on.

Hopefully this is a one time thing but ultimately I think Ashly knew exactly what she was doing and either didn’t think she’d be caught, or more importantly that Tana doesn’t possess the self respect to cut her off, BC she knows how much she means to Tana, so she could get away with it, regardless of how badly it hurt Tana, bc Tana would have to forgive her since they’re basically sisters and she already forgave Brooke. She knew she had a pass, she knows what she can get away with. And doing it just bc you can doesn’t make you a true friend. Crazy. Ashly really showed her character here and I can only hope she’ll better herself for it.
