80 Series Wheel Bearing Adjustment

- Marlin Crawler makes some of the best 80 series products on the market. While I was in the middle of installing their Knuckle rebuild kit, I decided that it may be helpful to share how I adjust the front wheel bearings on our Cruiser. We've been asked before and there seems to be some type of myth to it that keeps a lot of 80 Series owners away from doing it themselves. It's not a difficult task if you know how to do it properly the first time and some of the tips and tricks that I've learned over the years have always allowed me to do just that. Follow along and I'll share a few of them as we go.... If you have any questions about this or any suggestions, we'd love to hear them. Comment below! Please don't forget to subscribe!

Excellent instructions. Thank you for posting - I feel more confident now to do this. I was holding off, but now it's time. Thank you.

Nice job!
Mark Reynolds thanks for watching!
Superb.
Wits End makes a driver that puts the axle seal 2mm inboard of the original position. It’s well made and fit my driver perfectly. Thanks for the video. This bearing adjustment method makes a lot of sense imho.
P Hendrix thanks for the information. I am aware of Wits End, but somehow forgot that they make that driver. I’ll have to check them out again. Thanks!

Great Video, got to tackle mine soon
Thanks for watching!
@@FamilyAdventuresOverlanding Was Marlin the best price and quality?
Kristian T Peterson in my opinion yes. The terrain tamers are good too.👍
What bumper is that? Mine looks similar but is shifted left a bit. Trying to contact the manufacterer.
Longbow072 the front bumper is a TrailGear. Thanks for watching!
Digging the tool roll, do you recall who makes it?
Timothy Hull 👍. It’s made by Blue Ridge Overland Gear. Here’s a link. www.blueridgeoverlandgear.com/collections/tools/products/tool-pouch-roll. Thanks for watching!
