What is going on my mates, I hope you have all been fine and dandy. Today we'll be talking about a pop punk band from Pennsylvania called Grayscale and I'm going do a lil fun analysis video on why I think Grayscale is the future of pop punk
Grayscale is signed to Fearless Records and put out one record called Adornment through Fearless Records. Before signing to Fearless Records they were on Anchor Eighty Four Records and put out their first LP called What We're Missing. But once they signed to Fearless and put out Adornment, that's when things really snapped for them. They went all in and it seems like they're having the time of their lives doing it.
Their sophomore record is titled Nella Vita and is due Sept 6th of this year. I'm excited to see what direction they go with Nella Vita and see what type of role it plays in their career as a whole. Remember, Nella Vita out this September!
Grayscale is: Collin Patrick Walsh, Dallas Molster, Nick Ventimiglia, Andrew Kyne, and Nick Veno. They have a bright rock 'n' roll career ahead of them.
    Grayscale forever
Now, it's time for the feature presentation that you have all been waiting for: Grayscale Is The Future Of Pop Punk
I will thank you and hug a grayscale if you follow my brand on IG @matesclubusa
    thank you always
    Love you.

Grayscale’s been my favorite band of the last 3 years. I live next to Philly, been to four Grayscale sets, and I’ve always been amazed by what you just analyzed. This is a self made brand with the power of a machine. So much beyond just the music. Every move is cohesive to what they want to be, and who they are. So happy to watch their rise.

Hey man, just found your channel and loving the videos and content so far. However, I felt like I had to chime in on this one with regard to one particular point. You mention a couple of times that "Musical Brand" is something new here. I think you need to get a little bit more specific in your formulation. In the hip-hop world this has been a thing for awhile. Rocawear, Diddy, Kanye, and even into some female artists like Beyonce, J-Lo, etc. I'm not even sure I'd call it new in the pop-punk scene necessarily. How would you categorize something like Warped Tour for example, branding that included merch and marketing and far exceeded the music contributions of any particular band. Have I overextended the Warped Tour argument and Grayscale really does represent the first true Musical Brand in pop-punk? Or do they do it differently or better than the Musical Brands that have come before them? Both of those worth exploring IMO, but they're certainly not the first Musical Brand broadly speaking.

In reference to your pizza analogy, some might argue they dowsed that merch sauce all over the pizza and now it's just overcoated and inedible. You're right about the 3 M's but there's a limit to every one. As for marketing as well, they dragged on their last album cycle far too long, and putting out music videos 2+ years after an album just feels like trying to stay relevant until new music comes out, if their marketing was truly on point they would've realized their product was growing stale, and late video releases start to feel like shoving pizza down people's throat after they've already had enough and digested the last pizza they had

Further more using someone elses battles with heroine addiction for your own personal gain is immoral, I don't know if Madison is a real person, but if the story's true I doubt she'd be okay with Colin spewing her darkest moments and then making money off of it

I used to be big on Grayscale, especially Adornment. Nella Vita, however, is not what I was hoping for. If they could’ve just evolved the sound from Adornment, it would've been better, at least in my opinion. Nella Vita is too poppy for my taste.
