@H3_is_a_K1K3 That's why Lou is in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame twice? Velvet Underground and solo? And don't give me the old " The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is worthless " rubbish. You know that if an artist you enjoy gets inducted you'll wet yourself with excitement. By the way, I'm not a hipster.
Can't believe I've failed to notice this song for so long. To me it's one of the quintessential 80s songs in the most positive sense: slightly (but not ostentatiously) dark and unsettling, deeply melodic and in some way more mature than most other songs from the period.
A big fan of Iggy's musical talent, his on stage presence has always been awesome, it was Melbourne's Festival Hall back in 88/89 the Instinct Tour, standing up front to the right of the moshpit. The night was out of this World, then to realise we had the legendary guitarist hero Steve Jones of Pistols fame, did most of the axe grinding guitar work on that album🤘🤘
@@davidgamboa918 You are right! I also always thought that guitars should be mixed with a higher volume on Instinct, I love this album, but it's a bit skeletal, stale, minimal. My favorite is Lowdown. But I don't think Steve played on Brick By Brick, I know Duff McKagan and Slash played on that album, but not Steve.
@@davidgamboa918 Steve Jones also participated in the album Blah Blah Blah and they composed together the songs Fire Girl, Cry For Love and Winners & Losers
@@davidgamboa918 My opinion, the best Iggy albums are those that Steve Jones participates in. The Blah Blah Blah record is excellent. It is produced by David Bowie.
The Best line up ever after the stooges no doubt Iggy always fantastic But the backing band in 1988 was awesome Paul Garisto drums Alvin Gibbs bass and the great Andy McCOy
I love the new stuff he's doing these days, mellower ruminations/poetry to music it suits him and his voice. The last thing i want to see him do at 70 is "rock out" plus we have plenty of underloved material to choose from in that regard. Instinct gives me good memories, loved it then and now (though I realize it's a lesser work in the Iggy cannon)
HOT!!. WHY IS THIS THE 1ST TIME IM HEARING THIS. I LOVE IT. MY SOUL.... FOR SOME REASON SOMETHING'S REMIND ME BILLY IDOL ? OR IS IT BILLY IDOL REMINICANT OF THIS?.. LOL .
Underrated song. I love this album.
Uno de los mejores para mí, saludos desde Argentina
This album blew my mind when it was released. Absolute perfection. Iggy and Steve Jones 10/10!
One of the last of his caliber left. Love this guy.
FIRST last and always 🙏❤
Es mi héroe, mi pararayos . En la etapa más oscura fué un rayo de luz.
Saw this era/tour of Iggy, still the best gig I have ever seen
The year I saw Iggy Pop for the 1st time live as a mid/late teen. Back then I wasn´t yet fully aware of the rock´n´roll excellence I was witnessing.
Happy birthday Andy McCoy ❤
The sole survivor of the Holy Trinity: Bowie, Lou and IGGY!
Hey Mike, it's the unholy Trinity!
@@jonsantos9816 And I'm one of their priest.
Hey Man! I knew that cause I was one of a handful of Alterboys! LOL !!!
Yeahhh😎

One of the last standing legends.
Aw... This is just beautiful!.
The "baby'' ; way he says baeBee.
Goes through to ones soul
Saw him at the Agora show. Saw him at the blossom show. Truly the Godfather of everything that rocks. A true musical royalty.

Well worded.
**nods, mentally**
There's a master song writer at play here. Great groove, lyrics, and singing. Excellent, Iggy!!
Instinct, one of my all time favorite albums
Steve Jones on guitar
It's a great album. I saw him ou tour for it. One of the better shows I have been to.

Underrated song, but there’s not a bad song on the whole album, I’m middle age now but I still blast this in the car.
The once and future KING! THE LAST MAN STANDING! THE ONE AND ONLY! A GIFT! LOVE YOU JIMMY!
IGGY IS GOD
Timeless and tireless....IGGY!!!
Iggy Pop and Steve Jones were the real Rock 'N Roll professionals 👊
I wish they had collaborated again, they were great together.
Steve played on brick by brick. I wish the guitars were louder on instinct

His vocal range is so supreme. Like someone that just crawled out of a rolled up carpet from a garbage dump.
