For anyone that finds drawing designs tricky, I can offer a template of this design on my Etsy shop at a nominal price, as a digital download you can trace the shape from. You'll probably not find it too hard to draw, but just in case. Comment below this if you want one, and I'll stick it up as a instant download pdf, about a euro to cover my listing price. Etsy uses Paypal secure payments. I hope you enjoy this project.

Please also note that I've added Chapters under the video, and links, for your convenience. Beginners would do well to start with the Lace Sampler Project, which is a beginners' level project. I've also got a pdf available to go with that one, right now, for anyone that wants it. See my channel banner link for Etsy shop. Happy lacemaking!

😅That's a nice design. I think I will have to start with some samples, before I try something with curvy lines. I love your videos. You explain things very well. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

That's very sensible of you, because the curves create an extra challenge. I designed the series of tutorials to start with the Sampler one, so a beginner could build up confidence, and get the hang of technique on straight edged things. Thanks for the lovely complement about my explanations.

It's been a while since I've seen a needle lacemaking video on YT this comprehensive in scope. I am a bobbin lacemaker who learned that craft mostly from YT videos; I also watch as many needle lacemaking videos as I can find, simply because I find the process enjoyable to watch. This is not only the most thorough one I've seen in a bit, but also the best.

Well, thank you so much, both for the complement about the vid, and for taking the time to leave some positive feedback. I know what it's like to be learning something and be unsure of some minor detail of how to do it, that wreaks one's confidence in being able to complete a project. I really wanted to include as much detail as I could in the first lace tutorials so that as much confusion about how to do things could be dispelled as possible. You know yourself, from being a lacemaker, how important the smallest things are.

That's great. This one has lots of lovely curves, and who wouldn't love that cute Pea Stitch? I'm glad you get so much fun out of making these lace designs. I bet you're getting quite good at this kind of lace now!

I'm delighted you're at the stage that you're coming up with your own designs. I really wanted to get people up to the level of feeling confident about doing that. And the fact that you love how it turned out, well, that's the icing on the cake, isn't it? Well done indeed!
