Hi Kate, I live on the south coast of Australia. It was on a day out with my daughter and her children that I found this book when visiting a second hand bookstore in Sussex Inlet. I can't explain what drew me to your book. I am sad to say I hadn't heard of you before, but after reading the dust cover I was hooked. I hugged the book all the way home. I was staying with my daughter as her husband was away at sea, so I waited until I was back home so I could read it without any distractions. I got lost in this book, away from all the normal routines of my days. I then hunted down all your other books one by one. You are my favourite author and being an ex pat it is so easy to imagine all the details of small villages and castles within the beautiful English countryside. I can't wait for your next book. My daughter is also an avid reader with her own favourite authors but I'm hoping to get her to read your books. Thank you for many many happy hours cuddled up with a cuppa and your stories x
I read this twice this evening but from your mouth it sounds amazing. I just finished this novel which had happened to land up in my local Imperial Cancer Charity Shop around a year and a half ago where I snapped it up. Many thanks for this. It was really moving ❤❤!
