Are you aware of the 'myth' about the Dragons Mount - that if an infertile couple made love at midnight on a full moon there then the female in question would become pregnant.......? However, with numerous hopeful couples arriving and forming a queue, apart from 'timing', modesty made that not possible......:-)

Reading your book "The Secret Keeper". Borrowed it from my Mum lol. Not the type of thing I would normally read. An experiment. Absolutely love it. At that good stage where you've just started the book...and have the rest to look forward to. Am writing a book myself at the moment. Scary supernatural short stories. It's going well.

One of my favorite books written by Kate Morton.

Hi Kate, I live on the south coast of Australia. It was on a day out with my daughter and her children that I found this book when visiting a second hand bookstore in Sussex Inlet. I can't explain what drew me to your book. I am sad to say I hadn't heard of you before, but after reading the dust cover I was hooked. I hugged the book all the way home. I was staying with my daughter as her husband was away at sea, so I waited until I was back home so I could read it without any distractions. I got lost in this book, away from all the normal routines of my days. I then hunted down all your other books one by one. You are my favourite author and being an ex pat it is so easy to imagine all the details of small villages and castles within the beautiful English countryside. I can't wait for your next book. My daughter is also an avid reader with her own favourite authors but I'm hoping to get her to read your books. Thank you for many many happy hours cuddled up with a cuppa and your stories x

I have just finished reading “The Lake House”, it was absolutely enthralling and the way it comes together at the end is breathtaking. I moved to Cornwall 5 years ago after fleeing Essex to go to a woman’s refuge. I’d never live anywhere else now, it’s so beautiful here. Thank you Kate for an amazing experience reading your book, I’ve never felt so compelled to pass on to an author how much I enjoyed reading their book. A thousand thank yous. I might bump into you in Cornwall one day.

I need to finish reading The Lake House! I had so much reading in my literature classes I could not finish reading TLH. I'll finish that up and I'll get this beauty for Christmas :D
