When mirroring video apps to vision pro, if you turn your phone to landscape, does it do the same on VP?
i think the 2 questions i had left after the vid were yours + does netflix work when mirroring?

@@Musti_64_Official the Vision Pro doesn’t even sell in most of the world yet. I don’t have one, but like to keep following information about it so I can decide whether I’ll get one or not once it’s available here

The mirroring is good, I wish it would overlay on the phone itself tho, basically make it like seeing the Magic Keyboard,
or/and
make it work like the mirroring on Mac, where your phone can remain locked.
Love ❤ ❤ ❤ the content. The bezel app cost 5 bucks but they make a 3D render of your actual phone and it looks so much better than what Apple 🍎 did 🤦🏾♀️
It's a shame that the feature where you can control your iPhone (rather than just mirror) hasn't come to the Vision Pro. Seems like that would be useful.
It’s a new product. You can just now mirror your and control your iPhone through your MacBook and how long has MacBooks been out? It will get there in time.
Is the bora bora environment as clear as the lake environment? Are you able to see grains of sand? It may just be the recording, but it does not seem to be as high resolution compared to the lake environment. Is this the case you think?
can you make a phone call? will sound and mics work from Vision Pro?
Nice to be able to get the IPhone screen in AVP but really need to be more like the remote screen for Mac and automatic unlock. Guess they slowly port over the version from Mac sequoia to visionOS 2

Thank you! Apparently, the new "recent guest" mode allows you to save the eye and hand-tracking settings for 30 days. Quick questions - can you save the settings for several guests? What happens after 30 days? If the recent guest uses the VP within the first 30 days, is the period extended accordingly? Basically, I was really hoping Apple would introduce profiles for partners, family members, and friends :o(
I love your insights on various VisionOS features. Regarding iPhone controls on Vision Pro, if you have your MacBook's screen shared on Vision Pro and your iPhone is mirrored to your MacBook, can you then use the MacBook's touchpad and keyboard for iPhone's touch & type controls on Vision Pro? Could you please test this out and see if it works? It's a bit of an inception-like scenario, isn't it! 😄
Thank you for the video. Is it possible instead of mirroring the whole phone screen, use AirPlay to stream some content from the app, for instance RUclips? This could be useful in case when I have downloaded content on the phone and there is no native application on Vision Pro.
Better than nothing. But I don’t see why they can’t mimic the same type of mirroring they just show cased for Mac OS. Vision Pro would be much better if I could use my iPhone while wearing the VP without needing to hold the phone.

So they released a feature where the MacBook can interact with your phone while locked so my question is if you’re using your Mac screen on Vision Pro can you then interact with your phone via the Mac screen because the phone is linked to your MacBook

Can I mirror my iPad to my VisionPro? Does it mirror the sound play back as well? That way I can a bigger iPad viewing experience for say unsupported vision pro apps like Netflix. :D

I feel like its easier to just look at the phone than the virtual screen. I dont have avp but i think if it let you naviage with eye and pinch instead of just screen mirror it would be better

If there is a painting on wall with a persons face? Does vision pro recognize it as a person?
Also say I am using vison pro in a elevated surface. If I am near the border of the elevated surface, where there is a chance that I can fall of the edges, does it alert me..??
Haven't tested a painting specifically, but if there are people on my TV, the AVP will recognize them and make these appear through my windows/environment. I actually got a good jump scare one night when a gigantic face suddenly popped up in the middle of my steam game from the show my wife was watching 😂
No this isn't a feature but the AVP makes a 3d map of your environment so shouldn't be very difficult to implement. I don't think apple expects anyone to be using these near large drop offs or while out and about in general however.

unlocking your phone should be done right in the vision pro itself. first because you are logged in with your apple id in there and second is it can scan your eyes for authentication

@@himelstech if im not mistaken. an apple watch can unlock a macbook. so you don't need to enter a password.

With vision pro, in a dark night, is it able to see the stars?? And show us the star map??
Yes, every environment seems to have a view of the stars but ones that don't get as dark have a more limited view, with some only showing a couple of stars peaking through. Mount Hood, Haleakalā, and the Moon have the best views and they all have different vantages so it appears the star map might be accurate to the location, or is at least adjusted based on the location. Star gazing on the moon is a wild experience because the stars seem to wrap around you and there's even a small earth hidden high above to the back left

The screen covers your phone because it’s meant for hands to go over not objects I’m pretty sure
I cant get my Vision Pro to show up.. I'm on the 18 beta and the Vision 2 beta.
Make sure your Vision Pro settings are set to allow it as an AirPlay receiver.
On VP go to settings general, AirPlay and continuity, then turn on AirPlay receiver
Hopefully before visionOS 2.0 comes out, they allow you to unlock iPhone with Optic ID 2:13

Hmmm I have both betas on my devices and yet my Vision Pro is not showing up as an option on my iPhone.
In the Vision Pro under general settings, goto AirPlay and enable the Vision Pro as a receiver

Don't really see the point to have two iPhone screens. You still have to look at your phone to press icons etc. Would be much more useful if visionpro automatically detected when your phone was in hand and overlayed the mirroring image on the actual phone. Also, we still can't auto-unlock iPhone while wearing visionpro 👎🏽 -- 2.0 isn't looking very magical.

The speaker didn’t present the use-case, so I guess your confusion is understandable.
Sometimes, it’s challenging to see the finer details of your phone’s screen, when wearing the AVP.
And removing the AVP each time you want to see something from your phone may be impractical.
A clearer depiction of the phone, in the spatial environment, can solve this problem.
If you need to initiate an app or something, that’s typically easy enough on your phone and is unlikely to require mirroring.
The day that you can interact with the phone through the AVP or vice-versa, all be a great day indeed.

No when fully immersed you can only move like 1 foot before your immersive environment fades away to normal passthrough.

Alternatively you can use your code, or use Apple Watch to unlock iPhone!
Look forward to one day you look at your iPhone in VP and the mirroring happens automatically 🤞🏼 and as other states you can control with VP controls. One day 🤓

@@zezhenxu9113 I think they know they have time to bake in features. @$3500 USD it’s 3.5x the price of iPhone 15 Pro, my point being that not as many folks are on the VP network yet. But they will get there probably by v.3/4 and by then all these features will be so far along. Reminds me of copy and paste on original iPhone it wasn’t until iOS 3 that it got it. 2 years after the original iPhone came out 🤩
I hope they fix the sharp edges before the release.

What's the point if you can't even interact with your phone through the vision pro? This is useless, i can use the lg pointer to use my phone with samsung dex or smart view but not the 3500$ headset of the same company? Is this the "incredible" ecosystem apple has built?
This is brand new product and it’s not meant for everyone. I think people forget that most new products apple has released over the years were far from perfect at launch but has improved years. Just wait for the cheaper mass production model and stop complaining. I LOVE MY VISION PRO :-)
