Nicola, we love your sharing! You bring everything to life, we feel your love of linens and you make us want to try these higher counts. Thank You for Harriett Salt, got all my supplies in the mail this week and my fingers are itching to start. Thank You for all the beautiful samplers that you reproduce, my collection is growing....
I also have a 5 and 7 inch Hardwicke Manor hoop and I just love them . They are kind on my joints. I ordered mine from a webstore called "silent stitches" which I highly recommend . they have a wide range of unique stitching related items. I often just go to look at their antique needlework tools and books. You might enjoy having a look
Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge about needlework and linens with all of us. I always learn something new! Your new linens are just beautiful!! ♥️

Hello Nicola - I was excited to hear of your interest in the Ackworth School. I've admired so many of the samplers I've seen; I just love the colors. I've not had any luck yet in finding any patterns, so I'm hoping we might see some come out from Hands Across the Sea Samplers?
I’ve been looking at these wooden hoops. We have a store in Canada that carries them and I’ve been searching for info from stitchers on them. Thank you for your recommendation. I’ll order a couple now. Did you wrap the bottom half like they recommend?
Yes I am Catherine. I’ve ordered from them before and the service has been great. Now I’m trying to decide what thickness. I used to cross stitch in a hoop but haven’t done any in about 15 years. I’ve been trying in hand with this first project back but the linen I am using right now is floppy and I have put it into one of my plastic hoops. Much better. I’ll try in hand again with some Legacy Linen I got from Traditional Stitches on the next project. I like that these hoops are wood and thicker. Can’t wait to receive it.

Hi Margo - are you ordering from Traditional Stitches? I have been looking at them too but I've never used a hoop.

@@margomcintosh6070 Thanx Margo. I LOVE Traditional Stitches.
Beautiful linens! The Ackworth books look interesting. I love to do research on the history of needlework, so I may have to add these to my library.
The video is very nice but a bit hard to hear.
Lovely linens

Great videos. So wish someone would import legacy linens to the UK they would make a fortune🥰.
Where are these hoops available for purchase?
Nicola, I always enjoy your videos, but it's always so hard to hear you. Would you consider wearing a microphone? :) Janet
