I love the music. Awesome job, it looks fantastic. You can really see the difference, bro. I've ordered mine and gonna give mine the same treatment on my R32 😊👌
Honestly take your time as you’re going through each grit level. I do feel it could finish off with an extra grit level to finish up and then the polish. Still some fine swirls that bug me. BUT overall, from the aged yellow look to what it is now is really great results! 👍
😂 I did the other light, but I think I did it better the first time round. After doing both, I think it’s just being very thorough with the sanding stages. Especially the first stage with the 800, I think if the lights are quite badly oxidised then def go through with the 800 a few rounds. Before going with the 1000, 1500 and 3000. VERY messy though and definitely tape up the extras you want to avoid sanding like your bodywork 😂
Was definitely surprised how good it turned out on my first attempt. My expectations of these kind of products was not very high. 😅 My attempt on the other light though, did not look as great as my first attempt… 😅
My drill doesn’t have a speed setting Wish I did, would have made my life a lot easier 😅 The speed with my rubbish drill is controlled by how much I press in the trigger button. I went at a moderate pace, too fast would risk damaging the surface and hard to control the movement.
I have just tried the process and wonder if I was using too slow a speed. Too fast and you run risk of damaging surface. There must be an optimum speed😂
@@duncanmaclauchlan5126 I think get to a point you are comfortable with controlling it, I think the most important part is how much of the oxidation you can remove with the 800. You should see how yucky the water is from the wet sanding, the sand paper from the other stages is mainly used to get the headlight back to a point where you can polish it up to a nice smooth surface.

Love it. Great video. Looks like the results are really good when comparing to the other side!!

What speed were you using the drill at?

Yep, still seeing some scratches, so going to start again at 1000grit and have a steady watet flow etc. More patience required I think.
Pure garbage product
