Great job, personally I think golf mk5 styling is the best of all the golf ranges so far. Mine need doing and because I've done them before, around two years ago. I'm going down the 2k clear coat route. Same process but finishing on adding a tack coat then a final coat 15 minutes later. Allegedly that lasts for year's, stopping the UV from affecting the plastic lenses.
@@BMACVAGS this is a great channel, VAG cars and style of manufacture are unique, so having processes explained and shown is very helpful. Thank you for the videos you've posted. Best regards. 👊
Nice video bro but if you dont add the uv lacquer after it will be back to how it was after a few weeks or months which happened to me but after i done the lacquer step its been fine 3 years down the line
This has fucked up my headlights…. Damn things gone ALL misty after putting on the compound!!! Can’t now get rid of the haze!! Absolute waste of time and money!!! I’ve messed up my headlights doing this crap
Feel free to buy me a coffee if the video has helped you www.buymeacoffee.com/bmacvags

Brother i did this to my car and it worked brilliantly. Have been watching u for years. Keep it up
I used Fareca G3 with water in a one step came out superb, but then you have to put a UV coating on
What brand of UV coating would you recommend ?
Do you use that does it last long? @@craigyoung8692

What if you don't have a polishing machine, can i just use compound and rub it on with hand.
Yes sure you can rub it by hand. However, the difference would be like eating soup with and spoon vs a fork.
I hope that helps
Should prob add that you need to seal them after or they just rehaze again. Good vid though 👌
I appreciate that
Do you have to use a polishing machine or can you do it by hand?
Yes you can, but the polisher is much easier
He done a video on his Audi TT and he does it all be hand, check his earlier vids
Thank you. Will have a go tomorrow
@@Asma_1969Did you do that and does it last long?
@@grupposoleblufranto7971 yes I did and yes it lasted for sure . Ain't got the car anymore but definitely made a massive difference

Hi it looks like the dirt is inside the light on mine….like the other side of the glass. Or is that just the perspective?
а как же покрытие лаком фар?
Si no los tratas con algún sellador volverán a estar mal al poco tiempo

It seems that you have not followed the instructions properly. Start again from scratch and follow the steps.
@@BMACVAGS Start from " Scratch" lol 😆
Great vid what about a sealant ?
You can add a sealant if its your preference
I saw your video to use water instead of seafoam in car intake please tell me can we do that process in TODAYS THROTTLE BODY CARS ?
