So did people have a go at you because you said the paints were comparable to Cotman? Because I'd bet the paints are made by Phoenix, who most likely also make the Cotman paints now. Craftamo still claims the paints are comparable to the W&N Professional series, which is disappointing. Oh, and my box arrived three weeks ago with the wrong set of colours, so that was fun. I finally got my replacements today
Yes, in my initial overview video I said the paints were comparable to Cotman, and also said there's nothing wrong with Cotman's in that same sentence (because there isn't), but that I think for the price we deserved a higher quality. Someone took it out of context and got upset because I recommended Cotman's, and again, I never said there was anything wrong with them, but in this box, specifically, I'd expect something higher quality with the premium price we are paying monthly. So, as usual, have to always put disclaimers out there because there is always someone that will attack you and not actually listen to what you say :).

First off, I love Emma and wish her much success and thank you for sharing your experience. I totally agree with you about the paint. I was pretty disappointed in the quality given the fact of the cost. That being said, I do love receiving the box each month and the rest of the supplies have been very nice. My first box arrived in perfect condition but the following three were in pretty bad shape and all 4 didn't arrive until the very end of the month. Craftamo is doing much better though. The last 2 have arrived promptly and in good condition. I know I'm pretty much repeating what you've already said in your reviews of the subscription. Just stating my experience.
No, it is great that you are sharing your experience as well. Craftamo was definitely off to a rocky start, but I'm hoping people who subscribe now will have better experiences than those of us who subscribed from the start.
I agree every month I contemplate cancelling because I feel the price we are paying for student paint not great paper and two brushes I feel this is worth $45-50 not $70
I agree, for the price, it should not be student grade paint. I think we are paying more for all the wrapping and shipping than for the actual box of lessons.
