Master chef took a weird turn
don't compare "Master chef" thing to this epic show
Your broom, sir, will SWEEEEEP
It weeelll sweeeeep
BUT question isss Will it KEeeeeeeeL
Spooky it Will. Keeil
When he says it but most importantly it will keel that’s so creepy
I'm howling with laughter...incidentally, I am a Doug Marcaida fan
You know it will keeel. A broken bottle would keel. 😂
I just wanna watch Doug butcher a defenseless peice of ballistics gel
It is not easy to be a blacksmith I can't imagine thousands of years ago how could they do such amazing work back then you have to have lots of patience and determination to create Amazing weapons
Although forging of steel isn't "thousands" of years old, the ingenuity of figuring all those processes out... from copper to bronze and all the way to steel shows that blacksmiths were in fact the scientists of the past.
@@ngcastronerd4791it is actually “thousands” of years old
Where is Mr. Keel??
@jordy st-jacques
Yaa, weak tools won't keeeel...
3:02 at speed ×0.5 sounds like such a drunk guy
Jay Kay lmao
yes
and at 1,5 speed he just normaly talking
@@prasaite hahaha yeah
Forging axes and hatchets is very difficult without enough experience. It also need a handle type tool to shape the eye. But skillful blacksmith can forge hatchet without power hammer, hydro press and grinder.
By the way, in Japan, during the feudal era, the social status of swordsmiths was high, and the social status of blacksmiths who made agricultural tool and kitchen knives was lower than that of swordsmiths. However, Blacksmiths were proud of their ability to forge various steel products.
2:19 that safety glasses is upside down sir
Those are not hatchets, those are Tomahawks.
Hatchets go on the top of the handle, Tomahawk slide up from the bottom.
Reuben Willard I like this level of specificity, I wish a weapon show would get this right but most people don’t care I guess
what do u mean
Hatchets drop on the top, Tom's up from the bottom? How can you tell how they are tapered?
Only that young guy Aaron did that. The other two Smith's hilted the hatchets properly.
@@jakedonald7934 The geometry of the eye is a good way to discern.
On the other hand, all of 3 of them made hatchets instead of tomahawk in the 2nd round (Aaron had some problems fitting his), so we're all in the parameters.
this is like a mini episode starring john and some back ground people xD
Good to have this on my phone, where i live the show is probably in season 1
I fell asleep watching Forged In Fire clips last night lol
Doing this everyday lol
My wife and I love this show
I doubt any of them had made a hatchet before from the look of it. Can't blame them it's not a weapon in high-demand
Glasses kids bout to bawl his eyes out lmaoo
Man i love this show , im ping watching it since years
The judges act like these blacksmiths had 3 days not 3 hours:/
Dont like it, then dont join. Its a fking challenge princess.
Well, if you want to prove that you're the best, you have to actually be the best. The challenges are hard and taxing for a reason, everyone who even attempts this are very skilled. Those who pull through the challenge are experts.
-it will keeel
-thank you
Me: -Dafaq is going on here ....
It’s so obvious that the judges aren’t actually there yelling out the times
Was he making a shaving blade lol

@@BlakeGibbons Jacksepticeye is a RUclipsr. He's is a very fun guy and jokes around in his videos.
It's really not fair to have asymmetrical challenges in this. Those cubes were much harder to deal with than any other.
Unfair challenge.
They were given different shapes from oneother which causes a huge difference in advantage and disadvantage.
They were not given they chose the shapes sometimes life is about luck you uncivilized Yankee
.
@@justwithjosh560 I'm pretty confident LUCK shouldn't be a HUGE factor in a competition based on SKILL.
That's the same kind of thing as in games you critically fail on something you've been doing all your life because of luck and suddenly instantly die and lose everything you own in a pit of death.
Didn't I say sometimes luck matter in life
And it's a challenge each were given different challenges (the shape of the steel) and they have to go through it, its like picking a question in contest and if you're luck is within you're range, and hope that question will be easy.
You see this is also a *contest* and *almost* every contest has a luck based system in it.
I thought they were holding rakes in the thumbnail
I’m surprised no one made a shaft joke considering the many, many “tip” jokes I see on these videos.
the look on his face
Will it KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL
John in the welding hat remind me of Tom hardy
Would be great so see Aaron forging on his own. He seems very talented, despite the number issues. @Aaron, how about making your own channell too?
Nice
crazy they done this in 3h anyway o.o
I thought they were making hatches out of rakes😂

Joaquim Phoenix (jocker) forged in fire
poor J.C he did a better job than I ever would of even if it is on the thin side
România ♥️
Nice video
Imagine standing for 3 hours smh
Not an easy competition...
I don't find it reasonable to judge a 3 hour forged metal.
Wondering that how well those judges can do with 3hrs, expect than stating the obvious.
Pretty well considering they are world class masters of smithing blades
J Nielsen has been forging and smithing longer than most people have been alive. In a competition, J would tear people to shreds.
@@scottwpilgrim that might have been a joke but ya know with the things going on nowadays... you never know
Would live to see an episode on that
J does the round 1 and 2 challenges prior to the show ( and probably Ben now too sinve he's a judge) to see if the challenge is feasible or not. Dave makes the final round weapon prior to the show. The example weapons are usually the ones they made in the test run.
Doug is no smith but he's supposed to be the end-user part of the judges.
Funny there all tomahawk.

That guy looks like a punisher from Walmart
Hii
How is this a fair competition with different prerequisites
The parameters for the dimensions of the axe are all the same. The shape and materials are different.True, it's not entirely fair, the the Smith with the four rods had an easier time, but he still failed. It's a matter of skill and adaptability.
Aaron looks like a knock ofF Alec Steele
Wouldn't it not matter if the weight of the blade is towards the back of the axe head? I mean the momentum is still there behind the cutting edge, surely it would still transfer to the wood.
The thicker the sides towards the blade edge the more damage it can do even it will not break when chopping like wood. That axe head is to thin it will kill a person but armor and wood nope
0:00 alright DJENTS
If you don get the joke im very angry
Huh
Wrong metal channel mate ;)
They should have said jc please burry the hatchet
"Surrender your hatchet" ---- as if he is going to KEEL the judges with it!!!!
Hi
That is one of the ugliest hats in TV history.
It's a welding hat they all look like that
GG PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Ce-i asta fă?
Why do they sandwich the blade?
The edge should be made of your best, toughest, steel. These days a hatchet is all one material but when tool steel was hard to come by you made body of mild steel and forge welded a piece of tool steel for the cutting edge.
Aaron looks like computer programmer.
취미왕 so a nerd?
We've been making axes since the beginning of time for gods sakes. Make a butterfly, or a truncated figure eight. Don't try and get a mandrel up it until it's an even 8. The guy at the end is doing it right. Germanic axes for fighting have always been 'within a few layers of parchment' thick with a slight budge to fit the bit.
GG
This announcer is 100% better more enthusiastic and a voice we all love get rid of the new guy we want or old boys back OGS
Is it just me or does jc kinda look like jacksepticeye
Nil
Who would have to make a hatchet that fast?
I though Asians were smart
@@BarryaLLen-ik8bq shes catfished
😁
Why do they have to give them the thing they made when they lose?
- Even the winners have to give up their blades. In order to get insured the studio had to designate the creations as props and not allow any contestants to leave with the weapons.
3 hours and they have power hammers?
I'd expect better from all of them
to much drama editing.
سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم🤍. اشهد ان لا اله الا الله واشهد ان محمد عبده ورسوله🤍
is this on Netflix?
nope wish it was lmao
no
Gee I dunno... Maybe the HISTORY channel?
@@jaylopo1245 stinking attitude! I just asked if this show is available on Netflix. No need to act smart if your reply doesn't answer the question
@@jaylopo1245 Yeah, because nothing from History channel is on stewing services.
John Oliver?
the way they make the blades look incomplete as the timer runs out is stupid
What if the judges makes a blade in 3hours and i'll judge that its to heavy . .. and ... tell on ur face your blade wont kill 😊😊
My girlfriend also banned me from the forge for lacking inches
This show is literally the definition of anti climatic
For people who don't Know anything about steel or steel forging yes
It's not supposed to have a climax. You want that then go watch a chick drama show. This is about men using skill to overcome obstacles outside of their comfort zones to produce the best product they can.
I did dislike because it short video want see full video
Obviously
I hate the judges
:)
No females? Hmm
WaNNa lil ganja there have been females in the show a lot don’t apply for it
