Thanks for sharing. Although the video quality was a little sketchy, your video solved my problem. I flew my drone for the first time yesterday (indoors--not a good idea), and during my second hover test, it flew up and out of control. After watching it bounce off the ceiling a few times and none of the controls seemed to work, I shut the power off and it landed very smoothly. No harm done, but after watching this video I realized that I hadn't turned on the GPS, and the drone did exactly what you said it would do in this situation. I'm glad I stuck things out til the end. Great advice!
You don’t need GPS to fly the drone. Switch off the GPS via the switch on the side of the unit, hit the settings icon via the app, switch off the default beginner mode and adjust the settings accordingly. Happy flying.
Good video. I do not speak Spanish. As you can calibrate the control of the holy stone 720, it immediately goes backwards as soon as it takes off, and everything is calibrated, and the propellers are well placed .... Thank you
Try refreshing your wifi or scrolling all the way down your WiFi selection. Make sure the drone is on and calibrated. I’ve never had this problem so I’m just guessing..
If you look in your HS720 handbook it will tell you not to fly in certain weather conditions when temperatures are below... I’m not sure? Try to recalibrate the drone and before you fly read up on safe weather conditions to fly your drone.
I looked in the handbook and it states the Operating Temperature Range is 32-104 degrees Fahrenheit. This may be a possible cause to your drone malfunctioning, that is, if you were operating below 32 degrees 👍🏾
@@thedredigityshow6805 thank you so much i heard that cold weather will drain your battery fast. I have one more question though. If you fully charged your battery how long can you fly until it drains again? Because i never charged it 100 percent because i was just to anxiuos to go back out and fly and unfortunately i have to land the drone just to charge it again.
@@thedredigityshow6805 when you did the calibration, you didn't mention that you need to pull both joysticks down and to the right before you can calibrate, you'll see the icon flashing on the remote control, then do the calibration. Also, it's important to mention that you need a minimum of seven satellites before you can fly. You also didn't do the gyro calibration, pull down both joysticks down and to the left after doing the initial calibration. GPS is required in order for the drone to hover steadily when you let go of both joysticks. Hope this info helps.

I’m glad this video was of some help for you.. thanks!
I have read the instructions and watched several videos, yours was the only one that made since and I got it the first time. Thank you
You are welcome!

Thanks for the info!
EXCELLENT! Your video was of great help for me.
Thumbs up!
Thank You
I laughed when you said no fly zone and a fly landed on the phone

I believe there’s a switch that reverses that which you are speaking of
Mode 1 and mode 2.. somebody help me with this.
@@thedredigityshow6805 mode 2.... it takes off backwards immediately.
not seeing holystone come up as choice in wifi, any thoughts?

Thanks for the informative video
My pleasure
Thanks for the video! I just ordered the same one. One question should I calibrate the drone outside?
I would calibrate it wherever you plan on launching it
That is also where it will return to when you used to return to home feature
Ok thank you again!
Hey man, you’re blocking the video with your palm
It’s ok.. just listen to my instructions and you should be fine.
So bad I can’t tell you how angry I am… my battery died listening to this…
Ive flown my hs720 today in cold weather and all of a sudden on the bottom of my drone shows all red lights and i lost control of it to.

Approximately 26 minutes
I bought two batteries
I have been told by HS that the arm must be open...I used to do it the same way you did till then
I have a new problem.. when flying drone, sometimes I can’t record. Anybody ever experience this? And why?
How high was this dude when he made this lol
Hey, I turned mine on and connected to the WiFi and stuff but when I bring it outside it says not connect and 0 next to gps
Did you flip the switch on the side of the transmitter?
@@MrRamziaB yeah
Yes
@@thedredigityshow6805 bruh lmfao what
thank you for this
Hey you’re welcome Steve and thank you for watching my. Channel and subscribing
Dude how did ur phone find the wifi without having the devices on????????
Not sure what you’re talking about
Hello, what is the way to factory reset the controller please.
I’m not sure my friend.. I never had to do a factory reset. Perhaps it’s in the instruction manual..
God bless you
How can you connect your phone to the Holy Stone Wifi if the drone is not turned on....this is a joke
Press this button here in the front???
What button?
In the front of the controller, or the bird?
You lost me already
The button that has a lock symbol on it.
I got this drone and I can’t get it to fly
Re-watch my video, also follow the instructions in the manual
This would be more helpful if the camera you were using would stay focused on the drone vs going dark.
I think part of that was the dark setting is was in Bob.. it’s actually and excellent camera!
Well, it was dark
Yes you’re right, it was. And that’s why the lens was in and out of focus.
👍🏾
Ugh ugh uuuh umm
Just get to the fucking point.
just read the instruction book.............
I strongly suggest that this video is ignored.
Clifford,
I’m sorry you feel that way. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make this video better?

Ahh ok.... I didn’t do that step but as you see in the video the drone was still calibrated and ready for take off.
@@thedredigityshow6805 you do not take off until both sets of calibration have been done.
Good to know. Thanks for your input!
