yep. Tib-fib break when playing some pick-up basketball. Was going for a rebound and collided with another player in mid-air. Noticed I had an extra joint in my leg when I looked down at it.
Wow I've only ever seen 30 second clips of this guys cool inventions but how he talks and actually does stuff is so delightful and really brightens my day, thank you and keep being you
Personally, I'd keep the metal parts as they are. Buy a skeleton mannequin and screw them into the skeleton the same way it was in your leg. Add (and hopefully never subtract) from the skeleton to match any injuries you have had or get. You can mark cuts, broken bones... etc. A cool morbid museum of your body. I say so because I actually had a lung and 4 ribs removed because of cancer, and I've had dozens of surgeries and I always wished there was some visual way of displaying it.. I thought about 3D printing replicas of everything that's been removed or replaced because of cancer... or getting a tattoo of each bit removed... idk. My stuff is all fleshy mushy bits, so a skelly wouldn't work for me unfortunately. Either way, I really wouldn't melt them down or anything.... you might regret it in the future. Having something like that is a rare and personal keepsake! I have a small peice of goretex fabric that is the trimmings of the piece they used to replace my heart lining and some of my chest wall with. It's pretty awesome to have! But it's just a lame piece of fabric stuff... I wish I had some cool titanium shit... haha Anyway, I hope you continue your recovery and I wish you luck with your leg!
Have you seen @Turnah81 's vid, he just posted something similar a couple weeks ago, though apparently it's pretty heavy and a he repurposed actual pogo sticks.
Did you know that, this kind of crutches already exists ? I had a friend who had to walk with crutches all the time or use a wheel chair. Crutches are good for autonomy but bad for your back and shoulder, so some crutches exists with suspensions to reduce the impact of this issue. It is definitely not a unnecessary inventions
A broken foot shouldn't stop you from enjoying the pogo-stick, and now it doesn't have to! Introducing, the all-new, fun, safe, pogo stick rehab crutches! A fun way to recover from accidents, as well as a speedy way of bouncing around with one foot.
my fiancé has bad knees and has to use crutches when he's outside in case his knee goes from under him (its happened in the house a few times but thankfully is ok) these crutches would be amazing for him, not so much for the pogo stick part but for shock absorbing reasons. due to extended crutches use he has issues with his wrists and this might help him. on a side note your x-rays reminded me of the x-rays I had for my arm that I broke twice (at different times) once was the forearm (both bones that are now held together with metal pins) and than my humorous bone which I shattered and now i have a few pins and metal plate. I never got to take my x-rays home though which sucks.
Okay but this actually makes a lot of sense but not in a "Pogo" sense, these are basically shock absorbing crutches which helps for people who don't want crutches digging into their armpits while moving with them. I personally love this.
You should replace the gray plastic with more white stuff... I'd also suggest: 1. Sanding the inside bit do it doesn't scrape against the paint anymore... 2. Adding a protective varnish to the paint. 3. Doing something to make it quieter.
I have spent a lot of time on crutches over the years and this looks fun. Unfortunately, I found out when I had my ankle replaced that my repaired rotator cuff won't allow me to use crutches any more. I had to get a knee scooter which was fun but not near as fun as these look.
IDK if you have used the titanium but I think you should make the apple watch band with them but with removable attatchment so if the apple changes the size you could attatch to any watch you want 😊
Awesome! As one of many people who suggested this, thank you thank you thank you. That totally made my day. Surprised how well that turned out in fact.
I would rather use these crutches than normal ones. The cushioning of the spring would make crutches hurt less to use. It can be pretty hard on your arms. It'd also hopefully reduce the amount of rubbing and friction burning underneath the arms.
I feel like this might actually be a really useful thing if it was slightly altered, instead of being made to be bouncy, it could just be suspension. I broke my leg a few months ago and if my crutches had suspension it would be so much nicer.
Pogotastic!! I Had Perthes disease I've Had Lots Of Operations And Casts As A Result I Had A Wheelchair But Crutches Sound A Lot More Fun With Pogosticks!
this video isn't available on my device (I don't know why). Is it me? What did I do wrong? Why do we have to live in pain? What is the meaning of it all?
man this things is cool man!!!!!!!! I remember on my High School Period after my friends of his foot going broke a couple years ago now on his legs and now my friend his leg is fine now and the pogo sticks and leg crutches craft and combine is so amazing in the world man. (1000/10) medicals helps ever. 👍👍👍👍👍
Best way to figure out how the cast process works is to break your leg again (a couple of whacks with the ole sledgehammer should do the trick) and have a doctor cast your leg to see how the science works. Great job at inventing a non inappropriate moustache.
you need to take a cast n make the 3D printed part out of metal. also add a better spring system to get better mechanical gain n make pogo-ing smoother
Have you ever broken a bone?!
No
No

No, I have bones of the not weak variety.

Me: Breaks Leg and uses Pogo Crutches
Also Me: Bounces too high and breaks other leg
Perfect unnecessary invention
Time the flying wheelhair, eh wingchair then!

Thanks a lot!
Unnecessary Inventions some one made pogo crutches a month ago 🙁
Alternate title: How I broke my leg again
you should make a nerf gun that shoots candy for Halloween so you can maintain the 6ft rule!!!! LOL
I have been trying to think of a good Halloween idea...
@@UnnecessaryInventions Just remember to use wrapped candies, there's nothing sadder than wasted candy
@@EmissaryofWind now you're cooking with gas!
@@AsAboveISoBelow this would still be wasteful but he could make a revolver that shoots sixlets and call it a sixlets-shooter
Thats not unecessary.
u should melt the metal and either do a leg or like crossed ski trophy
Thats an awesome idea
Isn’t it really hard to melt titanium though? Great idea but I was just thinking it would be a little hard to melt
@@carleighlipscomb5114 yup i completly forgot, thought it was aluminium
Make a nice jewellery with it
Literally thinking the same thing lol
The metal should be
A: a bone
B: a trophy made of bones
C:a leg
D: a ski lift
E: a ski

What..?
Maybe you could use the screws to build yourself an award for skiing😂
That broken leg and recovery story is crazy! I had no idea
Who else thought he snapped his leg? And thought “when did he do that!?”
Have you seen @Turnah81 's vid, he just posted something similar a couple weeks ago, though apparently it's pretty heavy and a he repurposed actual pogo sticks.
He should design a good way to give out candy on Halloween
It cancelled Halloween I'm pretty sure!!!

No lights or beer holder? I'll buy Turnah81's pogo crutches instead.

such a typical youtube title, “I BROKE MY LEG!” (10 years ago) 😂
Didn’t Turnah81 make something very similar a few days before this was posted?
I thought the same thing... Yes he did.
ruclips.net/video/iv6DoQnmejE/видео.html
It was probably just a coincidence, these videos don't seem like they can be made in a couple of days. But I have been wrong before...
a few days before...more like a whole month lol
You win the broken bone competition. I thought my year of recovery was bad.
A broken foot shouldn't stop you from enjoying the pogo-stick, and now it doesn't have to! Introducing, the all-new, fun, safe, pogo stick rehab crutches! A fun way to recover from accidents, as well as a speedy way of bouncing around with one foot.
Didn't Turnah 81 just make these? Kinda seems like you stole his idea.
I was thinking the same thing
Probably just a coincidence, videos like this take a week or so to make
1:51 Imagine if he actually breaks his leg again on the pogo stick!

I didn't know he's 30, i thought he was like, 23 or something lol
Wait so, he's around 20 when the ski incident occured?
Add footholds on the crutches so that when your leg heals you can still use them
I saw these and I thought “hey, shocks!!”
Did you try using them like normal crutches to see how it felt?...
You should replace the gray plastic with more white stuff...
I'd also suggest:
1. Sanding the inside bit do it doesn't scrape against the paint anymore...
2. Adding a protective varnish to the paint.
3. Doing something to make it quieter.
Is no one going to talk about the fact that he is a legend on skis and we didn’t know?

Bro started the video with "4 months in the hospital 21 surgeries and I wasn't able to walk for 2 years" 💀
Awesome! As one of many people who suggested this, thank you thank you thank you. That totally made my day. Surprised how well that turned out in fact.
welcome back another 2 years in crouches

You should make the hardware into a leg.
It's amazing; the level of polish/finish you achieve when you make your products. Beautiful.
What?
You should use all the metal from your leg to make a tiny metal model of you breaking your leg!!
Make the metal that was in your leg into a leg sculpture of a leg
I feel like this might actually be a really useful thing if it was slightly altered, instead of being made to be bouncy, it could just be suspension. I broke my leg a few months ago and if my crutches had suspension it would be so much nicer.
I ruptured Achilles 12 weeks ago. Watching you jump on one leg gives me PTSD as well 😂
Turnah81 has already built pogo crutches with a few extra features I think they beat you to the punch on this one my dude
You should make a whole series of inventions built into a cast. Cast with bottle opener. Cast hammer. Cast scratching post for cat.
You could turn it into a miniature crouch so you never forget that day
Made respect for the huck. Like every vid as a ME designer. Love the content.
Nice invention!! Seems cool
Metal idea: metal foot penholder
The easiest and most entertaining way to break your other leg, lol 🤣
Can't wait and excited to see that metal plate be turned into an invention. Great job as always!
All fun and games until you break your other leg on them lmao
The sacrifices I have to RUclips.
Turn all of the metal into some sort of ski invention
This is the job I wished I had as a kid
Pogotastic!! I Had Perthes disease I've Had Lots Of Operations And Casts As A Result I Had A Wheelchair But Crutches Sound A Lot More Fun With Pogosticks!
My right leg works properly, but my left is kinda useless from sciatica. We could fuse together and make a working pair of legs!
This guy has resemblance to Duncan Robinson of the Miami Heat.
Aghh! So close to 100k!
You should build a leg shaped unnecessary invention
This time: pogo sticks
Next time: plungers
Very very very close to 100k

The beginning of the vid reminded me of Casey so much
It reminds me of the music played after dying in cuphead
Still had the style in my head after my last video.
The worst injury I ever got was sewing through my finger, this is why I don't ski
*I don’t know why but this must be a best idea I have ever heard, lol.*
Make a skeleton leg lamp from scans/xrays of your leg and mount the pins/rods where they were in your leg. Great talking point haha
With the metal that was in your leg you should weld them together into the form of a leg
Make an unnecessary invention using the hardware that was taken out of your leg
Best way to figure out how the cast process works is to break your leg again (a couple of whacks with the ole sledgehammer should do the trick) and have a doctor cast your leg to see how the science works.
Great job at inventing a non inappropriate moustache.
You should do it on Facebook
Turn the metal into a cool engraved ring
I broke my leg so I could build Pogo Stick Crutches!
are you trying to break your leg again???
You should make a broken leg sculpture with the metal
With that rod make upside down mini umbrellas that attach above the ankles to protect your jeans from getting wet when stepping in puddles
I think that you should try and make them more quiet and but a break in them in case you don’t want to bounce
I just realised that this video turns 4 years old today
PLAESE put stilt pegs on them so you can bounce on them just like a real pogostick
the only bad thing about this is the loud noise
Metal gator leg
4:11 how tf you survived the pain, I would since i enter the hospital honestly lmao
I literally broke my ankle on a pogo stick lol-
Who doesn’t use a pogo stick when you break one of your legs? Symmetry is key!
turn the metal into a tool used to break legs(it's the circle of life)
Make titanium shoelaces so that you never have to untie and tie your shoes again!
you're a fucking genius
Well thats something
you need to take a cast n make the 3D printed part out of metal. also add a better spring system to get better mechanical gain n make pogo-ing smoother
Should of used the screws that were in your leg for the crutches
Use the metal to build mini crunches for a serverner
melt the titanium and cast it into a crutch and out it in a chain
I’d use the metal for an invention that would allow you to use both your feet to drive, but safety first, ok?
17 surgeries?????? That’s insane man. How did you me tally cope with not walking for two years?
to be honest you could have had the legs of the pogo an inch or 2 longer, so that your feet only needs to catch you and not launch you.
I feel like you should use the metal to make a pair of mini metal crutches
