Mono white is awesome, because it's not just a straight up race deck, there's lots of interactions and clever things going on, and it's about synergy. Even if opponents don't enjoy it, mono white is a humming machine that feel good to pilot.
Love watching the teammate's matches and seeing you comment on their plays (I always loved when you used to do coverage). Guessing there is an option on mtgo to spectate while seeing hands but you don't want to see the opponents hands to not get extra information, but seeing your teammates hand maybe through them streaming on discord would be nice.
Absolutely love watching the extra matches. It's so cool to get a broader view of the draft. Which I think is like the dream. Getting to watch all the draft and see all the matches. I really like all the extra stuff you've added!
Sweet video! Loved the commentary on the extra games. There were so many moments Luis calls the exact play! He isn't just drafting the cube, he's becoming the cube!
Yeah, some folk have fairly loose interpretations of "mono coloured": I remember a Greg Hatch draft where he was "mono black" splashing the other four colours! 😆
I really like watching bonus matches....I enjoy your play but really stay for your commentary, and it's fun seeing other people's play alongside yours.
Love the change of pace! And keep your fellow Cubers on their toes. If they aren't going to pass Academy to you, then don't even want the Academy anyway 😂
Funny, when he picked Intrepid Adversary during the draft he said something like "Adversary is nice because sometimes you cast it for 6 and win the game." Proceeds to cast Adversary for 6 to win his literal first game of the draft. This is a man who knows his cards.
I like the teammate vids. However, I am primarily here to watch Luis do the broken things in magic that I would never know how to do. I would like to see Luis click through and explain some of the more complicated combos (or a separate video demonstrating the combos so that I can learn). Thanks for the great content LSV and Company!
LR has several hours of podcasts detailing every single card's place in the cube. I'd listen to those first to get 95% of the way there - the remaining 5% will come from watching.
In some of your previous videos I've heard you say "heart of the cards" multiple times. I gotta know, is that something you've picked up from other players or are you a yugioh fan? Lol
Been keeping a list of interesting cards to potentially add to a vintage cube. Was really excited to see when nexus of fate made it into the cube which was one of my tops picks. Also always happy to see a comet in your deck (4th time now I think) that card is a blast. If others are interested in seeing the rest of the list let me know! Maybe one day wilderness reclamation will make it into the cube….
Reminds of Zvi wanting to draft white in Torment wearing the Hint shirt and a good strategy was drafting white right next to him if the table was letting him have white
"No! I must draft crazy combos and five-color nonsense to defeat mono-white weenie!" LSV shouted. M:tG Online said "No, LSV. You are mono-white weenie" And then LSV was sandydog.
Maybe if it was only one 1 card from and to each player. If it was no limit all players would simply take the generically strongest remaining card in each pack and the teams will have a massive "sealed" to construct decks out of.
Please finish your games. ❤❤ I'm very sad not seeing if you get runner, runner into victories. You have us on the edge of our seat looking for the comeback but then just gives up on the 1-2% situations.
His titles are always great, but this one may just win as the best ever. And can you say you’re honestly not saying it in your head with the most sarcastic tone possible!? 😅
Hey LSV! I'm a long-time listener of LR. In a situation you found yourself with two moxen p1p1, would you ever pass both knowing your team is still guaranteed a mox?
If you'd watched the video before commenting, you'd have seen that LSV cast it a couple of times. It straight won him one game, though there was another game where it didn't do very much.
Watching important matches is great but having it be a screen share or something would be much better because without seeing the hand it’s not nearly as good
41:50 I hope you don't underestimate Monastery Mentor again - it won him the game hands down, and possibly the match, and you had so many chances to deal with it.
He killed it as soon as it wasn't protected by Parallax Wave. He also mentioned that rolling damage on Comet would have been good because he could have killed Mentor without Mack being able to respond.
I know lots of people think it's boring, but I love mono white, it's my favourite!
Sandydog is my hero
Mono White is the best !

^ Strong agree with this.

Agreed, the current format is pretty great.
Sweet video! Loved the commentary on the extra games. There were so many moments Luis calls the exact play! He isn't just drafting the cube, he's becoming the cube!
It's the most LSV thing to draft mono white and still splash 3 colours.
Yeah, some folk have fairly loose interpretations of "mono coloured": I remember a Greg Hatch draft where he was "mono black" splashing the other four colours! 😆
Star Wars prequel levels of sandy.
I'm sure he has bad case of sandy vaginitis after that beating.
I mean, it does get everywhere
You can see the moment early on when the glint of "I'm going out sandy sandy" hits. Love it
Zing of the day.
Well, ur the only person I'm upvoting this video.
Big thumbs up on the showing another round and narrating it. Really made the team draft aspect feel more important.
I really like watching bonus matches....I enjoy your play but really stay for your commentary, and it's fun seeing other people's play alongside yours.

Really enjoyed getting to see the other players, plus your commentary! It was really interesting to get your analysis.
love seeing what's going on elsewhere in the draft, deck screenshots and spectating are good bonus content
Seeing other matches when it makes sense is good. It's cool to see the scouting.
Loved the commentary on frog and slax's match, I definitely am in favour of doing that again!
enjoyed watching the teammate's match!
Funny, when he picked Intrepid Adversary during the draft he said something like "Adversary is nice because sometimes you cast it for 6 and win the game."
Proceeds to cast Adversary for 6 to win his literal first game of the draft. This is a man who knows his cards.
Been rooting for Sandydog this entire draft series and man this was a tearjerker lol.
If I may, I’d like to request another vintage & wine draft with Gaby! Hope you’re all well, Mr. Vargas :)
Great watch, love the other match showcase!
Love the team environment with the extra games this chanel is always more awesome (fire emoji)🔥🔥
the way you just called the sail and then the garruk+time walk in those games against Slax, of course
Love the separate match commentary

@@traycarrotthank you! That’s awesome!
Watching more matches is always great
Excellent video title and an excellent draft. I also enjoyed the commentary on the teammate's game.
Love watching bonus matches, more is more
The drafts where you get comet are extra special

LSV: "I kinda hope to draw Wasteland here"
*Draws Wasteland*
- Day 437 of LSV foretelling his draw step
Love watching the other teammate's matches 👌

Love the titles, never stop
You were the chosen one. It was said that you would destroy the sith not join them.
It would be interesting to see a team draft where you can trade cards over to your teammates
Maybe if it was only one 1 card from and to each player.
If it was no limit all players would simply take the generically strongest remaining card in each pack and the teams will have a massive "sealed" to construct decks out of.
@@benneem yeah limiting it would probably be best
@@benneem That's my thought too. At that point, it's probably better just doing team sealed and lean into that more properly
Please finish your games. ❤❤ I'm very sad not seeing if you get runner, runner into victories. You have us on the edge of our seat looking for the comeback but then just gives up on the 1-2% situations.
I've been watching PT Ixalan, in large part because of your commentary. I say keep it up if you have the time or catch a critical match!
Here to enjoy white cards : D
His titles are always great, but this one may just win as the best ever.
And can you say you’re honestly not saying it in your head with the most sarcastic tone possible!? 😅
What set is that swamp that Sandydog plays round 1 turn 1?
Watching the other games is nice! But is there any chance you could ask your teammate to stream on discord so we can see the hand?
Happy to see my buddy Shoey in the game now.
Dear lord, those basics that all look like islands but aren't are just horrendous.
Hey LSV! I'm a long-time listener of LR. In a situation you found yourself with two moxen p1p1, would you ever pass both knowing your team is still guaranteed a mox?
While I love comet, did you ever cast it or even want to cast it?
If you'd watched the video before commenting, you'd have seen that LSV cast it a couple of times. It straight won him one game, though there was another game where it didn't do very much.
Yes, he is!
Unless it's Armageddon or Balance, it's hard for me to get excited about white.
Watching important matches is great but having it be a screen share or something would be much better because without seeing the hand it’s not nearly as good
You're the dog now, man!
What about telling us about your predilections? I mean we know them because we watch but I’d like to hear what you think about your own draft style.
Good idea, I’ll do that in a future vid
dandysog is back!
Comet remains the best card to cast in terms of good content.
In a team draft, when you open 2 moxen, you pass them both
Those called shots, tho 😂
Love the video title
You’re supposed to say “Good boy! 😄” when you roll high with Comet 😡
That would get old very quickly.
Doing Sandydog double dirty
First time you didn't get remand XD
does it actually give you the cards or is it just a list and you have to get the cards either trading or from a bot?
Now this is hate drafting
i didnt like the commentary on the extra game but i dont mind it in the vido. maybe you can add time stamps to skip that part of the video
That title :D :D :D
Poor sandy
Yet another deck where mox ruby would've been better than mox sapphire. Weird how that seems to be happening fairly frequently these days.
Luis SandyDog Vargas

"It's not like passing him a Mox Jet is better."
You just said in your last video you would take Entomb in that exact spot pack 3.

Comet is such a dumb and funny card.
This video title should lead to the least viewed cube draft ever, but maybe not because here I am watching anyway
