@@gabelogan5877 not what happened whatsoever. That actor quit because both his parents died and he missed England. I remember hearing about it back then. And though they wanted to bring him back for the finale, he asked for way more than anyone else and ABC didn't approve it.

My DUDE! I’d love to see him work with the X-Men when they crossover into the MCU. The Leftovers is a top 10 of all time and he did the unthinkable with creating a worthy sequel to Gibbons and Moore’s Watchmen.

And that's exactly how the show ended. There's a reason this man was a showrunner for another prestige television show. He gets it.
