Appreciate Chuck's comment at the end. Underrated city and the most patient fans. This is the only sport and team that matters in a small market city like this. I have long since moved from Sacramento and I never once stopped being a Kings fan. Love this team.

Chuck might be referring to Arco 1 at 1625 N Market Blvd in Sac (now the Dept. of Consumer Affairs.) It kinda was a dump gym TBH, but the Kings were just an expansion team at that time and we all were just happy to have a team in Sac. Arco 2 / Sleep Train Arena is what most fans fondly remember, and nowhere near being a dump gym.
