Mind blowing video Harry. Just one question, Is it possible to do this all using a Windows laptop and an Ipad, or do they both need to be mac? BTW loved the human voice countdown
I'm a Mac guy, and I use Garageband/Logic (when I can afford it) but after seeing this add-on, I might consider switching if Apple doesn't do anything similar. Speaking of, are you going to be doing any more tutorials for Garageband/Logic or MainStage? Also, I see you renamed your channel. Nice touch.
I would LOVE to see an Ableton competitor, especially native to Mac like Logic/Garageband/Mainstage. I would love to do more tutorials on GarageBand/Logic - do you have any suggestions? You've got a great eye, Jerrid!! Glad you like it!
Does this work over bluetooth connection? I know for latency wifi is better, but still seems weird to require either a physical cable OR a router in your setup when bluetooth is just... chillin.
@geraldaugustus739 Don’t worry, I’ve requested some things from the developer very much in the “oh just add this!” style, and it is very much not as simple 😅
Off topic but can you please do a video for the SPD-SX PRO in regards to using dual triggers. I'm set my kits up to have a kick and snare triggers (RT-30k and RT-30hr) with a loud sample and a soft sample. This part is easy, but I need to figure out how to toggle between them on the fly (eg. from quieter verse to louder chorus). It would be great to use a foot switch make this live switch, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. I know there is probably a way to utilize dynamics in order to trigger different layers with different velocities, which would not be ideal, but would still be a half-decent workaround. Looking for any information on the best way to do this, not easy to find Again trying to switch trigger samples on the fly with 1 tap or footswitch THANK YOU!
This is a fantastic question, and one that I don’t have an exact answer for! From my knowledge, I don’t think you can switch between dynamics like that directly. But a way around it would be to create two identical kits but with the difference in dynamics. For example, ‘Kit 1’ would be loud sample, and ‘Kit 2’ would be soft sample. Put both of those into a kit chain and set something like a Boss FS-5U (footswitch) to switch to ‘Next Pacth’ and then it’ll go between them both. I hope this helps! Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks so much! And yes, it is! Everything should work the same on windows

@@DrumElectric IDK enough about those DAWs to make requests, but anything you think might be useful.
That in itself is useful to know. Thanks Jerrid!
@@DrumElectric Wait, I got one! How can you use midi or any other shortcut to change effects or EQ presets in MainStage?
That’s a great suggestion!! Onto the video list it goes! If you think of any more, as always feel free to shoot me a message

From my knowledge, not yet. But Leo the developer is amazing and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a feature in the future!
@@DrumElectric fair! I'm sure it's not as simple as "add bluetooth functionality" but would be dope

hello... how i get "click device"?

THANK YOU!
Or even a comment response would be super helpful - will make a donation!
