Whispering Grass

Performed at Three D Radio's Hillbilly Hoot on 20-May-2019. This tune has a lovely melody and chord sequences, and some truly bizarre lyrics. We had a few bits of rehearsal after the previous hoots, with different singers, but this had its final polishing shortly before tonight's hoot (which included me having to radically change my playing style).
Lead singer and guitar played by Dingo, backing singer Eric the Unready, and Singing Nettle was standing by to add vocals but decided not to join in. We had a new person (Ellie May) doing percussion, and another new person (Two Dogs) playing double bass, who I met about a minute before we played the song on stage.
The sound's from my stereo mike in front of the ensemble, another behind the piano, and a bit from the camera. There's a few deep bass feedback resonances, they're trying out a new sound system at the hoot, and this is the second show that we've used it with.

Thanks. It came out better than I thought. I was half deaf that night, and couldn't hear properly (I still am). Though I heard that loud bass feedback at the start, and wondered how bad it really was, thinking plod on it's probably not as bad as I think. And I only met the bass player about a minute before we played, and completely forgot to ask if he read music.
