When I worked at Target a smol child bought a $50 toy for his brother for Christmas. All in coins. He'd been saving up his allowance the whole year and this was his first time buying something on his own. I wanted to kill myself but I accepted it and helped him count it.

And some stories having holes in them is due to the journalism of the stories themselves so you can't really blame her (she is just there to read and report all the info presented in an article). I do think though it would help to have multiple article sources on the same story so there's more info (she usually just reads one). You should know this if you are a long time viewer...or you straight up just don't like her at all and therefore biased against her. 😅
I will say she is doing decently so far and of course with practice she can improve. If you have a problem with certain stories then don't watch those ones and submit ones you like.

My son has encopresis, which Joe talks about. He gets really embarrassed. He has no control over his bowel function. It's "curable" but takes no less than a year of making sure your bowels are empty. Basically his started with self constipation, through that, he stretched his bowels, so his muscle function there is almost completely gone. He has to wear diapers because he has "leaks". (Basically his bowel is like a cup, and every time he eats it's like an overflowing cup, and just comes out.) It takes a long time to shrink your bowels back to the regular size.

I live in Michigan, it costs $10 to park in downtown Detroit at the events center for about 2 hours. During the holidays I parked at the offsite of the Detroit Metro Airport for $9 a day, while my friend paid $15 a day at offsite of the Los Angeles Airport. Back at home in Nevada parking is free in downtown (not Vegas).

I don't understand Julia's logic about pleading no contest. In her story, she's basically saying that her friend plead no contest to stay neutral - to avoid both innocence and guilt - but then ended saying "by pleading no contest he's definitely guilty." I think she was trying to make an argument but then compromised her point at the end by getting lost in her own story.
I live in Michigan and not all tickets are that cheap. Just to go to Detroit and see a pistons game the parking is $30. That is not just in the official lot either, that is every lot even the crappy ones. But this kinda reminds me of my dad because he used to make my sisters and I count out pennies and put them in rolls and if we did a good job he would give us three and we would walk to the gas station to get something.

I don’t know about the US but here in the UK there’s a point where change doesn’t act as legal tender, here technically you can’t use just 1p coins (1 cent) if the item is worth over 21p. So that’s why they likely didn’t accept his money.
as far as I know, in California there's no law against using pennies as payment. It's mainly private businesses or machines like vending machines that can refuse pennies as payment but that's mainly because they don't want to be inconvenienced.

When I was in LA there where cheap parking lots for 15$ lining the block, some where even cheaper people holding sign in the street. Also you could sneak into parking lots pretty easy with out paying. Maybe I just had a great trip.
