I noticed that there seems to be A LOT of these types of stories where people go into the woods think they're gone of only a few hours, when in reality they were missing for days. It's very creepy.
If it was a really cool cult they were there to save people like me I will stay with them for the rest of my life knowing that I will be okay and I have a family that loves me for EVER NO MATTER WHAT. My family abandoned me when I have mental problems so I'm forever alone nobody loves me so I'm by myself forever if some chance something like that happens to me I would stay with them because to me it's a family kind of feeling I would stay with them for that reason and knowing thay love me and I belong to a family That want me with THEM.

I would go out into the backyard or even front yard late at night in the pitch black darkness with nothing but the stars n moon lighting up the dirt road, and trails. Just couldn’t sleep, and I was fascinated with the night time environment. Lot of scary unexplained things I have memories of. Get chills to this day thinking about it, because I don’t have a third of the confidence I had back then to do that shit ever again.

I find it interesting that so many of these stories happen in places that humans find creepy. For example, this rarely-if ever-seems to happen out in a desert, a swamp, or a savannah. Perhaps it’s the fear of not knowing what’s behind trees or beyond the leaves through which you cannot see that scares us into imagining things.

This sort of story sounds so much like the old European stories of being kidnapped by the Faeries. The person meets a strange being, goes back to its place, usually for dinner, and comes back and days or years have passed, but to them, its only been a short time

This sort of story sounds so much like the old European stories of being kidnapped by the Faeries.
The person meets a strange being, goes back to its place, usually for dinner, and comes back and days or years have passed, but to them, its only been a short time

I allways thought "dont talk to strangers" was to avoid awkward situations with your kid, like he asks a person why their face is all messed up or something.

Or when your 3 yr old stands pointing at the extremely obese woman sitting at the table next to ours and says "looky there daddy, that's a biggun huh?" I swear it felt like time stopped right along with my heart. I've never been more embarrassed in my life lol. Kids are great.
