Perry was the glue that kept that damn show together and this is a fact. I enjoyed his quotes and country accent and his comedy performance was Second To None on any show lol.
My husband said frequently that it is minor but contributing characters that can stand out and shine in a TV show or Movie, really make or break the show.. i think Lane Smith/Perry White is a perfect example of that. He had some of the best lines in the show.
For that Superman is my favorite superhéroe. Because is not all about Clois but about Perry's story, Jimmy Olsen's aspirations ....even Cat's affairs. Superman offer US a lot of interesting plot about secondaries, over all in the Daily Planet that few superhéroes have
