I loved this show as a teenager back in the 90s. Back then it was all about the romance between Lois and Clark. Now that I've been watching the series on dvd, I have a new appreciation for the show and I especially like Lane Smith with his southern accent and Elvis idioms. One of my favorite lines of his was, "Why don't you shoot me now and send me up to Elvis." He was so funny.
Great scene!!!!, one of my favorites. Lois is harboring a fugitive that she believes to be innocent, she tells CK and they try to hide the guy, this conversation is about how everyone knows about it. Hahaha!! gotta love Perry.
@@leilaferreira5983 Google-translated, with some human help: "I think Perry wasn't just talking about this fugitive, but he knew that there was something going on between Loise [and] Clark.
I think a form of the word "know" was used about 19 times in less than to minutes. Not counting the at least 5 times the word "no" was used..wow... i love this show....
This is from the episode where Lois hides an escaped prisoner (whom she believes was wrongly convicted) and I think Perry's referring to that. But I definitely remember, when I watched the first time, being a little confused if Perry was saying he knew about the prisoner guy...or knew that Clark was Superman?
You know ... you don't need HBO though. There are these little round disks called "DVDs". It seems weird, I know, but some of them have movies or TV shows on them.
Edward Azad "What's that?" "The minute you step out that door, I no longer know and I don't want to know anything else worth knowing in the future" Me: What?
I loved Lane Smith, sorry he passed away from Alzheimer's! He was phenomenal in the ending of Gideon's Trumpet as the Attorney who finally got Clarence Earl Gideon freed! 😥😥😥❤❤😫😫
Ismael Ciulla No, not about their relationship. Lois was hiding Eugene Latterman in her apartment. He was accussed of murder but she was sure he was innocent.

"I know."
"You know ??"
"What exactly do you know ?"
"You know... I know."
LEGENDARY 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the best live action Perry White!!
Lane Smith was such a good actor
100% agree! The casting for this entire show was immaculate.

Eu tbm era adolescente adorava parte romântica mais tbm o lado engraçado do Perry
Lane Smith RIP. Best Perry White ever.
This and Perry and Jimmy's "supporting TV show characters" conversation are my favorite dialogues in Lois and Clark.
Exactly it's so amazing and well written, as if they were support characters 😂😂 this show is perfect
@kekamixi They nailed it with the casting, from Lex Luthor all the way down to Cat. I really missed her character after season 1.
I wish he was my boss! Could listen to his Elvis Presley's stories all day!
I could watch him dancing on top of his desk to Chubby Checker all day 🤣😆😂
@@vgg31the best!!! I believe that was the space rats episode with "the Jeffersons" guest starring. I never laughed so hard in my life!
What does he know??!? I couldn't stop laughing at this scene "You know that I know what you know..."
25 years later, still knowing.
Great scene!!!!, one of my favorites. Lois is harboring a fugitive that she believes to be innocent, she tells CK and they try to hide the guy, this conversation is about how everyone knows about it. Hahaha!! gotta love Perry.
Eu acho que o Perry não estava só falando desse fugitivo e sim sabia que estava rolando clima entre LoiseClarck.

Keeping Clark’s secret is always such a tricky dance with wordplay…

And especially when the person with the secret identity is so averse to telling out-and-out lies.
Though the episode has its context and story, Out of context this scene serves so well
Watching this at my grandparents in primetime.=)
Great shades of Krypton.=)
*Great shades of Elvis!*
Lane Smith was amazing.
This is hands down the strangest conversation in the whole show! And it's never resolved about what Perry "knows."
This is a funny scene, you know? ;)
Yes, I know. Well sort of anyway. I unofficially know that this scene is very funny. LOL!
30 anos depois e continua muito bom.Serie atemporal amooooo♥️♥️💙💜❤️🤎🤍🤎🤍
This scene is awesome 🤩 it makes me want to watch the show but unfortunately I don’t have HBO max, you know, so I’m stuck watching these clips
You know ... you don't need HBO though.

"They don't know that we know they know we know!"
Good acting.
Esse chefe era um charme gostava muito dele...e ainda adorava o Elvis....hahahah...saudades de Lois&Clark....☺😆😍😚💙❤💋💕💓💟💗👍👊👏👏👏👏
This scene is sooo perfect. I laugh hard always.
that was awesome hahahhaa
@GreenStatic Lois and Clark work on a story and hide a fugitive who claims innocence and apparently Perry knows when its a secret ;)
Who wrote this? Were this rap, it would be the mother of all bars
There is something you should know, though
Edward Azad
"What's that?"
"The minute you step out that door, I no longer know and I don't want to know anything else worth knowing in the future"
Me: What?
wat did he know
They were harboring a fugitive.
But , in fact no one really know what they think they know .
I choose superman all series.
Yeah--unfortunately. That's why I've been checking the DVDs out of my library for several weeks now.
I loved Lane Smith, sorry he passed away from Alzheimer's! He was phenomenal in the ending of Gideon's Trumpet as the Attorney who finally got Clarence Earl Gideon freed! 😥😥😥❤❤😫😫
I---I'm trying to figure out what Perry means. I think I know what he's saying he knows that they know he knows, but I don't know...
RyutheWeredragon I have no idea what he knows. I’m guessing it’s about Lois and Clark’s relationship
Ismael Ciulla No, not about their relationship. Lois was hiding Eugene Latterman in her apartment. He was accussed of murder but she was sure he was innocent.
@Nige13able Hey you are not a bad fun don't worry ;) This is from season 1 episode 15 "The Ides of Metropolis"
full episodes are on hulu
HBO Max has the episodes now
cracysurfrat21 I totally agree with you ;)
Only season 1, unless you have to pay for the upgrade?
That's what I love about the English language. In German it's not that funny.
What was the episode where Tempus was making fun of lois for not knowing Superman was clark?
Season 2 episode 18. Tempus Fugitive :)
What dose he know? He knows were superman is right?
In this episode, a man was wrongly convicted and Lois is hiding him
Better than the Smallville crap.
Lol..
sorry...two not to
which eps is this from?
Ides of Metropolis. It's in the description
