*Personal Log-1 week since Galactic Empire formed* First sign something was wrong, we were going throughout Hutt Space, destroying their orbital defenses in preparation for a possible invasion of core Hutt territory, when we got a Galactic Scale Holonet Transmission, from Coruscant. Last time this occurred was when Palpatine had been granted Emergency Powers, almost 2 and a half years ago, days before Geonosis. In some naive sense, I was quietly hoping that he’d see reason and attempt to negotiate a settlement with the Confederacy. Instead, we were granted a hooded, scarred visage of the Chancellor saying that he survived a Jedi Assassination attempt, that he was granting himself the title of Emperor, and that he was reforming the Republic into an Empire. Palpatine basically announced that he was murdering Democracy to put in his own Absolute Dictatorship, and the Senate just applauded him into unlimited power. We later found out that, prior to the broadcast, every single Jedi was shot down by their own army, presumably as a retaliation for the attempt on Palpatine’s life. I’m reluctant to admit it, but this might help us in the short term as the Order has been wiped out, so we can have better offensive successes. But that doesn’t change the fact that, in a single transmission, the nature of this war has changed. Now we aren’t just fighting for our sovereignty away from a corrupt government, but also our right to exist against an oppressive, authoritarian Rep…Empire. 29:23 "A bombing run can't be refused by telling them no" 🤯 The CIS with Grievous and Dooku in charge having to fight the Empire is actually a really cool plot diversion. It means that the people who became the Rebels would more than likely join up with the Seppies if anyone. It also raises an interesting set of questions: would Palpatine and Dooku have already turned on each other/died before Order 66? Or would they have tried to steer the war towards an Imperial victory still if they Order 66'd so early?

See, the constant bouncing back and forth between taking a planet, losing said planet, then getting said planet back is the reason why i would never use cruel AI. That just isnt fun, thats just tedious.
Usually you want to activate it once you have decent fleet and income. At least two or three battlegroups that can defend and attack, block off hyperlanes by using border planets and slowly move up while building. Its definitely more tedious if you start it early and not worth going through. Admiral is already hard as it (reasoning being that the AI has less targets compared to Thrawns Revenge, making you the primary target most of the time) and it's definitely worse off playing as the CIS.
Yes, to my knowledge as soon as the AI reaches 100 influence they will initiate order 66 (unknown if they activate order 65) since I was fighting republic star destroyers later on and Vader
Hey Cory I just got the game again with my new laptop and the game was running good then my computer updated now the game loads slow saves won’t save and just crash and idk why but I wanted to see if you could make a video showing me how to delete all the Empire war info so I can restart the game and maybe it’ll be running better with a clean slate

Question-Can the Republic AI enact Order 66/65, or is that player exclusive?
