Ralfy saying penisface is one of the best moments I've had on this channel and that's saying a lot because this channel churns out belters on the regular
Lol - now i had to look into one of the pewdiepie vids - he had 5 five japanese whisky - and his nose was impressive - he found notes ranging from "pretty nice" up to "very nice" and "very, very nice".
Jörg Walossek I'm SHOCKED that he didn't watch this video and leave a comment and Smash that Like Button! No, genuinely.. I can't see that bellend going a whole day without one of his "Team" Googling his Name! Oh well, can't help some people..
maciej wrotek Yeah, we know that abnormal alcohol intake may cause cancer. Why would you arrive here and make some noise about that already medically known fact? There are far more common maladies caused by alcohol. In fact Alcoholism.. Not alcohol as such. This is a safe space for mature malt males and females... Not insane vegans that believe in daily flagellation as a design for immortality...
Very nice Ralfy. Nice to see you make efforts on rigor on the scientific facts, the real explanations of things which are often not intuitive and not simple.
I also subscribed to Wisk(e)y Vault and Horst from whisky.com, have learned a ton in past month... and also spent a lot on new bottles to the collection :)
When using WSET’s Systematic Approach to Tasting one of the options for the Assessment of Quality is ‘Very Good’ I could hear PDP saying Very Nice in my head every time I gave that conclusion.

Lately, my girlfriend and I have been watching your videos at the end of the day and it's a real pleasure. We accompany our drams with your reviews and learn a lot. Thanks for your amazing work! You are our malt mentor and we are just malt macrocosmic ministers :)
*Thingyburn* is such a good whisky. From Whatchamacallit Distillery in Yekenwhereamean. Notes of ochyeken & watsitcod will overwhelm the senses. Great stuff!
"Anorak" /ˈænəræk/ is a British slang which refers to a person who has a very strong interest, perhaps obsessive, in niche subjects. This interest may be unacknowledged or not understood by the general public. The term is sometimes used synonymously with "geek" or "nerd", or the Japanese term "otaku", albeit referring to different niches.
I actually found your channel looking for more Whisky reviews after watching Pewdiepie's Irish Whisky review. I've enjoyed a nice bottle here or there but the thought of whisky youtube videos hadn't even crossed my mind before.
Throwing out penisface so casually was one of the greatest things ive ever heard you say ralfy! Keep up the great reviews! You have helped guide me on this whisky path for a very long time. And for that i am grateful. Cheers mate.
Please keep the great videos coming Ralfy! I always enjoy your take on different whiskys and what to look for in my local liquor store (Which has a massive Scotch and Bourbon section).
Thank you for the great videos Ralfy. I started drinking whisky last year as I direct result of watching a few of your videos on bourbon and then moved on to single malt whisky. Your videos have been really helpful for me as a novice and are a great guideline! 👍🏻
Thank you Ralfy, I am always learning something new, useful and relevant from watching your videos. The crusty rusty spirit sage strikes again. Not so rusty anymore though, I have seen your work out videos!
I'm sure Ray Davidson would be less than delighted to learn that 'The Nose' designed the Glencairn Glass! I've never seen Paterson use anything other than a 'snifter' glass.
3:49 wait wait wait Ralfy that glass might be a new technological advancement where you just set it down on the table and it "naturally stirs your whisky around the glass" for you!!!!! hahahah
Ralfy, glad to see this. Also, “PenisFace” as just a joke, it’s Jacksepticeye. Didn’t know if you knew that or not. I hope Felix sees this, because he could use it
I tried to watch PewDiePie's reviews and what I saw, I concluded it wasn't my taste. I tried a few others and just couldn't enjoy them. I have stuck with a small handful of reviewers: Ralfy (was my first and continues to be my staple reviewer), Scotch Test Dummies (Can't go wrong with STDs), Whisky Whistle (and his new Whisky Whistle Korea), and lastly, Hörst (Whisky.com) (And I even learned to get passed the swooshing sound). Keep up the good work Ralfy! I think I don't speak for myself when I say, I am looking forward to the countdown to your 700th Review.
Whisky Whistle is a guy (Mark) who enjoys a good dram, and has fun sharing his enthusiasm for it. Some of his videos take place in Canada, but most of them are in S. Korea. I tell you this because sometimes he refers to places there he has purchased what he is reviewing.
..and Glencadam 10 which just happens to be the subject of my most recent review. Wish I could find more of it! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts, Ralfy!
Ralfy love every video. Only suggestion with the videos you are aiming at a wider audience, introduce the whiskey's at the beginning to grab our attention. Stay thirsty!
By the way you never talked about your Hazelburn X Springbank X Longrow blend (not technically a blend i think) anymore, or did i miss that episode? I'd love to hear how it turned out.
I am partial to a nice Abalour or a old poutney but I'm terrible for using my dad's old tumbler and an ice ball. I only ever have 2 or 3 of the good stuff before I retire it and move to a cheapo blended or bourbon whiskey since I don't enjoy it as much once the alcohol kicks in.
Aye - He's on the button, he is. Had a vid stressing the dangers of letting the drink get the best of you. He's a gem. Little tidbits of very interesting information. He knows his stuff, and his compliment to Richard Paterson is admirable.
Thank you Ralfy , I really enjoy your You Tube videos. I'm a newbie when it comes to Scotch whiskey. I'm from Canada and id like to know where I can get a proper glass. I believe you call it a Glen Cairn glass?
My word - they had a whiskey from 1920! What a treasure - I'll never get to taste anything like that. Ralfy - what would you do with a cork that breaks like that? What I did was use a cork screw and then decant it through a sieve when an old bottle of Glenlivet from the 1980's cork disintegrated.
I watch pewds (sometimes) and I watch ralfy (also sometimes...) so I appreciate his thinking! I also nearly always drink along to ralphys review when I get a new scotch... right now I'm midway through the Ledaig 10... review AND bottle haha
I like the fact Pewds is sharing the love for whisky for his wievers. I'm quiye sure many of them has taken a hint on quality spirits. After buying the bottle they search for information on products online and they'll end up on Whiskey vault, Lüning or your channel (Ralfydotcom that is). A journey every time. When can I get a malt mention?
I quite like my Talisker Wamblers for drinking budget whisky and watching a movie or something. There is no way you can tip it over with a normal quantity of whisky.

Dan Hammer Here in Croatia there are lots of them but the ones that I tried are not so great. And here nobody has patience to age šljivovica for years in casks, lol
I find it perplexing that reviewers don't single out the whiskies that have as their most prominent flavor the grain they are made from. Malted barley distillate is the definitive note, and many don't have it.
I have some experience and still prefer a tumbler! The nosing glass is annoying to drink from as it interferes with my manly nose! XD Also the tumbler feels better in the hand and I like to breathe while sipping what is to intense with the nosing glass as it funnels the aroma too strongly. From an engineers and chemists standpoint it indeed is in theory possible that an optimal aeration rate exists (high rate with tumbler could otherwise be balanced by shorter aeration) and that the glass structure could influence the exchange rate of certain molekules depending on their vapor pressure. But when even tasting "experts" show to be highly influenced by "placebo", I doubt that using a tumbler is objectively bad. www.realclearscience.com/blog/2014/08/the_most_infamous_study_on_wine_tasting.html
Ralfy saying penisface is one of the best moments I've had on this channel and that's saying a lot because this channel churns out belters on the regular
Did he just call Jacksepticeye penisface?
Trabant yeah he did, he's got baws of steel taking on the fangirls
He's Scottish, penisface is probably a compliment
It's a great thing to call someone, Imagine someones nose and replace it with a cock
that's what Pewds called Jack in the video
Lol - now i had to look into one of the pewdiepie vids - he had 5 five japanese whisky - and his nose was impressive - he found notes ranging from "pretty nice" up to "very nice" and "very, very nice".

A very well balanced and generous take on Pewdiepie's whisky reviews, you're pure class Ralfy
Thanks Ralfy, it's been kind of hard finding videos as a beginner to help get my whisky journey going. I feel you're really trustworthy
I want that quote on a shirt "here I am still standing even though I'm sitting"
Very nice Ralfy. Nice to see you make efforts on rigor on the scientific facts, the real explanations of things which are often not intuitive and not simple.
I hope that any Pewd fans that pop by stick around and continue their whisky education. I give this one 5 out of 5 "Very Nice"
yep, I am here willing to learn
Excellent - I've learned bucket-loads of whisky goodness from Ralfy.
I also subscribed to Wisk(e)y Vault and Horst from whisky.com, have learned a ton in past month... and also spent a lot on new bottles to the collection :)

I think this video deserves a 7.6.2
Ralfy is a living legend
He's the Gandalf of whisky
haha he is absolutely the Gandalf of whisky, the wise old greybeard leading us all on our whisky journeys.
ANORAK - A studious or obsessive person with unfashionable and largely solitary interests.
. . . . that's correct !
AKA introversion?
Not all introverts are anoraks, although anoraks might be introvert.
according to youtube 2017, you need to drop a diss track.
yup. you know.
Hey there, Pewdiepie
If it were me, I’d call you a “dumb guy”
Screaming, raving all your views
Praising Jesus, you’re a Christian dude
You may respec wahmen, but at a price
Your whiskey taste is not so nice
Rated scotch whisky, the hell is that
No Glenfiddich? That’s hella wack!
Look you, drinking Jameson

Can't wait to see Ralfy play Call of Duty during his next review 🤗

Hey Ralfy, your accent and voice makes me wanna drink more and more whisky

Thank you for your wisdom sir! Cheers from Indiana/US.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, my friend! You're an eloquent speaker, and a great wealth of knowledge! Thanks for making this.
Congrats on 100k subs!
This is a great overview of whisky! Hopefully the PewDiePie name will help this video show up in people's feed. Also learned a new term: anorak.
cheers ralfy !!! the best whiskey vids out there along with RP.........greetings from the 'burgh !
You are the whisky guru Ralfy, thank you for all you have shared!

I don't want to be the one who nitpicks... But as far as i know recent bottles of Glenfiddich 12 are colourant added.
Exactly what I thought when o watched his video,, long time ralfystuff fan would be awesome to see collaboration video.
Ralfy, glad to see this. Also, “PenisFace” as just a joke, it’s Jacksepticeye. Didn’t know if you knew that or not. I hope Felix sees this, because he could use it

. . . now on the M-mention List, thanks !
Thank you!
You meant Hazelburn... do i win a bottle of it now? haha
Thank you Ralfy!
..and Glencadam 10 which just happens to be the subject of my most recent review. Wish I could find more of it! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts, Ralfy!
I love that malt, I think it's such an underrated 10 year old.
alan wilson ..that’s about to change thanks to Ralfy!
Hellhawk666 it is sad - there’s a lot going on in there!
From the first Pewdiepie review of whiskey, I said to myself, "Felix needs RALFY HELP!"
This guy is a legend, i saw a meme of this guy, and finally tracked him done.
Another great video Ralfy 👍
Ralfy love every video. Only suggestion with the videos you are aiming at a wider audience, introduce the whiskey's at the beginning to grab our attention. Stay thirsty!
lmao "you're not pissed yet". going to use that phrase going forward
By the way you never talked about your Hazelburn X Springbank X Longrow blend (not technically a blend i think) anymore, or did i miss that episode? I'd love to hear how it turned out.
folkmarcmetal yes hè did that review. It was something called springrowburn.
Classiest channel on RUclips
He's livid with that glass.

Not sure🤔👍
Thank you Ralfy , I really enjoy your You Tube videos. I'm a newbie when it comes to Scotch whiskey. I'm from Canada and id like to know where I can get a proper glass. I believe you call it a Glen Cairn glass?
I found two at The Hudson's Bay company. Thanks
10:19 by my math wouldnt that be 10 minutes not 5?
This I gotta see! Ralfy On Fire!
WhiskyWhistle you are also a very good RUclipsr and respectful the hell with pewdiepie or whatever his name is
Luis A It is spelled 'PewDiePie' but it is pronounced, BELL END GOOF!
i love this video, good input and artistic trolling very nice haha
My word - they had a whiskey from 1920! What a treasure - I'll never get to taste anything like that.

When can I get a malt mention?
If piediepie makes whisky review you should make gay review. Nuff said. Keep doing great job.
To be honest, I always thought the glassware that often comes in giftpacks of high-end spirits is more of a display item anyway.
Glencairn glass was designed by Richard Paterson? Didn't know it! He always prefers the copita glass.
Haha, I guess Ralfy decided to check out the Pewdiepie whisky videos!
. . it was entertaining !
Hahaha
The RUclipsr he was reviewing the Irish whisky with is named Jacksepticeye, not 'penisface' by the way xD. They were joking.
. . . so was I, sort-of !
ralfydotcom oh, alright then!
That 100 year old bottle video they did was one of the most disrespectful things that's happened to whiskey
I'm curious about the norlan glass.
. . . expensive and designer.
ralfydotcom How about NEAT glasses, are they any good?
I quite like my Talisker Wamblers for drinking budget whisky and watching a movie or something. There is no way you can tip it over with a normal quantity of whisky.
Hey Ralfy, would you be interested in making a bit on travel exclusive whisky? if anyone of them is worth looking out for.
What about his 100 years old bottle?
Glencadam 10 is a budget masterpiece. Deliciously biscuity and fruity. I was at Glencadam two weeks ago (2nd visit) and was informed that the 15 YO, which in my opinion, is the best one in the range is sadly being disconitinuned as they have run out of stock. They have the new Linited Edition 13 Year Old though and of course the very expensive 18 YO. My advice. If you see the 15 YO on the shelf, grab it quick!
a flash in the pan Ralfy

Sorry pewdiepie I have never heard of you until today!
Laga 16 - pour a dram - add half a spoon of glendronach 18 = my own destillers edition.
. . . good result !
ralfydotcom
Inspired by a senior scottish spirit sipping sensation, so thanks 👍
I'm so late to the party. Some of those bottles aren't so affordable anymore...
Ralfy what do you reckon of Kirk & Sweeney rum?
. . . never seen this one around !
From Dominica. Just seen an advert for their 23 year old for £50 (albeit at 40% abv).
Hello Sir Ralfy
I have an urgent question.
I bought 2 bottles of Glenfiddich 12 and the 2 bottles have different levels of filling in them. One bottle has more whiskey than the other !
Is this a common mistake of the production process or have I been scammed and bought 2 fake bottles of whiskey?
Anyone reading this do help out. Thanks all !
. . . slight fill-levels vary, it happens, but the fill level must exceed 70cl or (75cl if in the USA) in all legal bottles, if in doubt, check with the seller or send photos to Glenfiddich as they need to know about possible fakes, good luck.
i rate this video a 7.5 very nice
Agreed very nice lol
girlcrazy7 Very Nice Review!
Nice
girlcrazy7 seven and a half vary nices
Never heard of this bloke, I will stick with your reviews Ralfy. And thanks very much for this review.
Great video. For those that truly care about learning about whisk(e)y, Bourbon and even Rum, this is the channel to subscribe to. Always interesting.
Do adore the PXDE Lagavulin!
Raymond Davidson designed the Glencairn
. . . he did ! with experise from Richard Paterson.
ralfydotcom I did not know that. Thanks for informing me :) Now I like Paterson even more
A barefaced, unashamed raid on PewDiePie’s fan base. Keep it up Ralfy my son!
Here's to hoping Pewdiepie sees this video
This all fine and good but let's get a collab with Whiskey Vault :)
The best whiskey is the one you like to drink.....except for Tennessee honey, never compliment Tennessee honey
I had the disgrace of tasting that recently, it was so bad that I had to drop ice on it. I'll remember that for the rest of my life
Unfortunately that beautiful glenburgie is priced around 700 euros
Leather arm chairs and shoepolish!
Is that Sake on your shelf ? :)
. . . yes, I don't like it !
Ralfy, do you have any recommendations on a good plum brandy (ŠLJIVOVICA)? It would be nice for a channel to do review :)
Tomislav B. it's a long shot, but if you're really into plum brandy maybe you could check this one out www.zufanek.cz/en/product/oak-barrel-aged-slivovitz/
That's a Czech slivovice, crafty and getting more popular in the recent years.
It'd be rather difficult to get hold of it as it's mostly sold to the domestic market, but I've got a bottle and it's straightforward, but substantial stuff. If you happen to encounter it somewhere, worth a try.
Dan Hammer Here in Croatia there are lots of them but the ones that I tried are not so great. And here nobody has patience to age šljivovica for years in casks, lol

Indeed he does
the fucked up thing is that PDP can afford all the whisky in the world
I love Richard Paterson!

Wait its not for sale? Ralphy u really gotta get someone to make a real website for you.
I was hoping for a reaction video 😂. I hope Felix sees this and stops making those beginner mistakes.
It’s Clive without the beard...
