Those of you negatively commenting on this video, even years after its post, have not done your research. Wing Chun is soft, yes, but aggressively EXPLOSIVE at the same time! When the [ insert explicative ] hits the fan, let's see how good your form stays the way you trained it. Form is simply a shell of the concept. The concept, understood, lies within. There are many who teach only soft and subtle Wing Chun at seminars (and arguably this may be all they know), and as a result, Wing Chun is regarded as a pussycat self defense art. It's NOT! A good boxer will crush subtle Wing Chun any day, given their stick and move skills, etc. What you're seeing here are BASIC concepts for basic students to meet attacks, aggressive and volatile. Boztepe realized, given his experience, basic students must know how to survive, FIRST! So footwork and explosiveness are taught first. Soft/Internal Wing Chun can only be understood through a physical experience, not a visual one. You're preaching to deaf ears by trying to visually capture soft Wing Chun through a video recording...waste of time.
T M perfectly said! People who haven’t pressure tested their wing chun and think it’s going to work under chaotic conditions are mislead. I’m an EBMAS student and I’ve trained boxing and mma and another style of kung fu. Nothing compares to this style when it’s done properly and trained properly. It is truly devastating and the sensitivity cannot be underestimated. My instructor is like water💪

Wing Chun is all about subtelty over brute force, intelligent answers to stupid questions.
There is none of that in this vid.
Also the instructor's structure is completely non-existant. And structure is the heart of WC.
I agree - the man already took the inside line on both sides! He already has supreme control; how could he possible have enough time to respond to that kind of energy and forward pressure accordingly?
