In March 2022 I was asked if I would be interested acting as a potential substitute bassist for MONUMENTS in case of a Covid emergency. It so happened to be, that out of all shows, this would be the case at Hellfest on June 19th 2022.

Originally these videos were intended as a way to show the band where I was at with the songs, so they could correct mistakes before a first show with me, without any rehearsals. Even though some of these parts aren't 100% correct, I still felt some of you might enjoy watching these videos nonetheless. I've been shooting these 15 videos over the course of 3 months, so they've been sitting around for a while now. I'll be uploading another playthrough every two weeks. Hope you guys will enjoy them!
This cover of Cardinal Red is the only song I just covered because I felt like it. I had not yet been asked to potentially sub for a gig or two, I just loved this song a lot and wanted to learn it. At the time I wrote:
''It's been a while since I really felt the urge to cover a song. Cardinal Red has been stuck in my head ever since it's release and with several people suggesting I cover this tune, here we are.''

HAhaha what's up Phreak! I'd say 8 out of 11. The hard part is keeping everything consistent throughout. The riffs themselves are not as hard as they look, but you just gotta stay relaxed and stay in the groove :)
