See?? More creators need to do THIS. Actually SHOW us how they set things up, what they use and what it all looks like. I think you're about the only one in here that truly shows what you're sitting in. Its so appreciated seeing "behind the curtain"...i think most creators are to embarrassed to show that they don't live in a million dollar mansion and hide their low cost housing theyre working in! They want to sell the illusion that they're doing fantastic from RUclips.

Empress with your slick studio, the slat background gives your studio professional look. I’m not design specialist but background a little dark and maybe wear a shirt that contrast your skin. You’re a great presenter of photographic equipment and good looking gentleman love your work.

Love your new Studio. It's a step up for sure. Much earned!
But I have two things: The Plant still bothers me. Because of the lighting I still think it looks like a cgi plant in the back. 😅 And the second is just an idea: maybe put a white acrylic plate behind your logo and light it with white LEDs. This would look awesome! Now it is not really noticeable, especially with the background blur. But I think that would look great on your videos.
Keep it up, thanks for you content!

Love my Flexispot sit/stand desk. I got two frames, used one for my custom desktop that is 36"x80", I actually use it to go lower than most table legs, and of course to stand up. The second frame I used to make a sit/stand dining table with a Quartz top. I love to stand when eating breakfast, and putting the table down also keeps the cats off the dining chairs.

Awesome 😎. I really like the “CRISIS” center it is nice. A lot of thought went into it for sure. You are the only one i can think of that I’ve watch show your setup. Think you very much for doing so and with such detail too. Using the space for multiple settings was a great idea. The Husky Tool box is out of the box thinking..I know I’ve used them for a long time for different things besides tools. Oh your plant has its place in there for sure.. Great Job. Thanks for sharing…

Mark Bennett's Light Crisis. Great work, but Mark get some diffusion behind the cutout for the logo on the wall and push some white light through. 14:16 there's so little contrast with black letters on a blue background that it looks more like a patch to hide a problem than a deliberate decision. Also we will be literally seeing Mark Bennet (in the middle) and to his (top) right Camera Crisis logo in White light, you already has your white light thing just match that same 5600k white and it will be much better. It would be fun if the logo was " 's Camera Crisis" (just fun, I would not do it).

Mark, you left out one item in your new studio. Where's the BEER!!! While you where showing off the PC and Husky tool cabinet I was saying to myself, "Man that is some good acoustics to be be out and about and it still sounded like a recording studio.". Then later you showed off the acoustics panels. Great investment.

Hi Mark! Thanks for this video showing your new studio! I liked the transparency you have with showing the whole studio (behind the camera and even outside). I think others seem to like it as well because it is nice to just know exactly what people like you are using to make your videos.
I have some future video ideas that you could do that I feel like sharing.
Videos to help people set up a high quality but still affordable* working from home setup (camera + mic maybe; ZV-E10 + SM58?! with ShureVX2U?).
Also maybe you could delve into the equivalent (ZV-E10/FX30) cameras that Canon, Nikon or Panasonic make? I have no idea about any cameras other than Sony so maybe you could educate people on other brands as well? (future proofing)
Other than that, I really like your comparisons/education on the cheaper Sony cameras most people will use and their equivalent lenses (Sigma/Sony; ooo maybe look at other lens brands as well if there are any haha).
You are really good at the camera comparisons so I'm not sure if looking into microphones would be good (as I'm not sure how good you would be at mic comparisons or microphone content compared to others (too diversified maybe for you).
Anyways have a good one Mark,
    Ben.

  • @Hobbies4Hire

Great job on the video Mark! Thanks for making it. Congrats on the new studio. Circumstances have been favorable here lately, so I too have recently picked up an a6700 and fx30. I'm thinking of D. I. My-ing some acoustic panels to turn my garage into a studio space for shooting some maker-style videos. My idea is to just do some simple 2x4 frames, stretch canvas over one side and let my nephews and nieces use them for art projects. Then I'll fill them with acoustic foam and hang them up. Art made by family with a practical purpose.
Oh! The camera store I work at had an event this past weekend and I got some hands-on time with the A9III. I don't think enough people talk about the ergonomics, and the subtle design touches like the placement of the custom buttons behind a tiny little shelf that protects them from accidental presses. Sure, the "shutter" sound is borderline pornographic for a camera tech nerd, but I was surprised to find how comfortable of a camera it is to hold.

    • @MarkBennettCameraCrisis
      @MarkBennettCameraCrisis  8 месяцев назад

the ergonomics are off the chart with that A9iii. For your panels - 2x4 frame is great but full it with Rockwool safe and sound insulation. maybe that’s what you meant by acoustic foam - the real insulation is how you get that professional sound deadening www.lowes.com/pd/ROCKWOOL-SAFE-n-SOUND-R-Stone-Wool-Batt-Insulation-with-Sound-Barrier-23-in-W-x-47-in-L/4382951

Enjoy your studio. Your wife knows exactly where you are at all times. It's a trap, you will never escape.
Next year, now that I finally got my A7CR, I'm going to excuse myself from RUclips and all the wonderfulness of YT videos on camera and everything else that has taken up too much of my time. I'm sick of all those self made semi-photographers who are really salesmen and know so little about cameras. I will say it now, the Nikon F2 (that very one in my drawer) is the Best camera ever made. If film really picks up again, it will be used far more often, right along with my A7CR. Time to get out of the house and enjoy the fresh air.
Enjoy your studio, how it makes you millions of dollars and catapults you to internet fame. Keep smiling and keep photography alive.

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I got two Gravity LS Vari Poles 01B. They are cheap but good quality. But I got much smaller room (it's 3x3m so less than 10x10 feet).
I got Amaran 300C on one of them with 60x60 (2x2ft) softbox and it's rock solid.

I feel like my light stands take up a little more space than I'm okay with, so I'm considering using something like the Impact Varipole to mount my mic, soft box, and maybe a hair light. I've seen a couple of other folks using a single pole (from wall to wall) across the top of their shots to elimnate the light stands. Thoughts?

I’m glad that you did this video because I’ve actually been tossing around the idea of putting a shed in my backyard and making it my RUclips studio. I’m curious for the electricity did you have an electrician come out and run wiring for you and for the Internet, are you just piggybacking on your Wi-Fi from your home? And my last question is did you do any type of AC/heater? I know with sheds like this they can get fairly cold, but also could get very hot during the summer.
