Step by step to the “perfect” circular shape: gentle on materials and easy.
Everyone knows the perfect circle only exists in theory. However, if the perfect round shape of a crimped workpiece is important to you, our IPC control has the function you need: Multistep, the interval forming program for step crimping: Give the pressed material more time to flow. The workpiece is rotated 22.5° between stages, the machine opens briefly and then crimps the next step. The feature is available in both Dimension mode and Pressure mode. For each intermediate value, the machine opens the minimum entered value before crimping the next crimp value
