That is such a brilliant idea! Can the devs please include the option for detachable ships in the sequel (which i totally would buy even without detachable ships)?
The original concept was not for extra fuel, but survivability. When this monster is damaged enough from one side to lose stability or lost most of it's armor and has multiple fires - we get rid of it and go on with smaller Sevastopol. But the price (~700k) and game performance (7-10 fps on 8700k and 1070) both made it impossible to handle in campaign even when I made it a flagship via editing the .seria file.
Last time I checked the Sevastopol also costs you money... however since you need a Flagship you either have use the Sevastopol or a modified/improved Flagship of your own design.
Alexander Medvedev 1 week ago We connect the two parts of the hull with an aerial bomb (it has two attachment points) - we drop the bomb - the part without the bridge falls off.
The entire outer portion of the ship as it wiggles free...
*"Finally! I can die!"*
Frames per second: "haha, I'm alive!". It was like 7-10 fps when both parts were linked and V-synced 72 fps when Sevastopol was set free.
when your ship is so big you use the Sevastopol as a evac pod

Sequel? They haven't even finished the first one!
You should write it in forum about game, cause they probably won't see it here
devs? the game is made by one man!
@@oldest_troll He should honestly team up, we won't ever be seeing updates at this rate.
You just invented *Fuel-Air Bombs* for Highfleet
А прикиньте, какие нагрузки должна испытывать бомба, удерживая весь этот вес?
a very expensive way to have extra fuel.

Ah, so its a Khiva rush build. And since Sevastopol has no start of campaign cost...
OoO

Yeah, Sevastopol costs money...Alot of it.

Мужик, ты гений блин. Сделать отцепляемый кусок корабля с помощью бомбы... да мне бы в жизь не пришла такая затея!
Not to say something but a thing like that would be a great waste of resources in real life.
I mean, I doubt that it would be useful in combat. 🤔😅
Вопрос "как?" снят. Вопрос "на.... зачем?" Остался..
thats a very cool concept.
I think what you meant to say is: Modified Sevastopol drops monolithic drop tank.
Can we make it like a kind of bigger bomb? Something like this when drop onto ship will cause serious damage.
Yup, I already did - ruclips.net/video/xDbGeVaDHtk/видео.html
like nukes? :D
what is happening?

@@dujon Interesting. But what is the advantage of this?
I just translated copied the op words. Cuz I was just as curious at you. It's cool looking for sure but a waste of resources for sure.

@@maxspringfield, mostly because I can. I'm testing some odd Highfleet mechanics.
Это вообще как? Оо
Соединяем две части корпуса авиабомбой (у нее две точки крепления) - сбрасываем бомбу - часть без мостика отваливается.
