    Huge high pressure fuel pump wear out. Lots of metal fileings in pump, injectors, sensor, valve, pipelines, fuel tank. Symptoms: cranks, but does not start car. Diagnostics shows low pressure on high pressure fuel ramp(HPFR) while starting.

    I cant get my fuel pump fully out... It only gets out 1cm or so but not all the way out. I have tried to pull it out but it wont move. The screw on the back is also loose and removed. I tried with the special tool also.

      Hi. I beleave the sprocket is still tight on axel. Take a look on my other videos, you will understand. Did you use special tool to release pumps sprocket?

    My HPFP failed on my 2014 535d xdrive, did you have to replace injectors? Remove fuel tank and all lines ? To be cleaned or replaced? BMW told me only way to fix it is to replace everything from fuel tank to injectors. I don't believe them tho lol I saw there's an aftermarket filter that can be installed to filter all metal out before it reaches hpfp

    • @jonasjo202
      @jonasjo202  3 года назад +2

      Hi. We usually replace new HPF pump and new injectors by BOCSH, giving old stuff back to remanufacturing. Clean very well all lines and tank. It's not necessary to take them off. After all change filter one again or twice. Good luck.

      @@jonasjo202 lol I wish you were in America lol. Have you needed to do timing chains when the pump gos?I read something on forms talking about it but wasn't very clear. & My primary fuel filter showed some small amounts of metal but when I pulled the filter on the actual pump no metal was in it? Have you seen that before? I still need to pull rail and everything apart. It has the DDE fault when I run Ista

      @@jameskelly9510 some time ago I was thinking to visit America 😄, but not now... When changing pump does not need to do anything with chain. It needs only a special tool to remove it. Maby next week I'll make video about that tool. Yeah, the metal pieces are most important to remove.

    Actual Rail pressure on my N47 E91 is from 260 to 270 on idle. Is it normal? As the car starts fine and drives fine the only code stored on DME is 4BDA fuel presupply pressure control but no engine warning light or message. Does this mean weak pump? Thank you very much and really appreciate your help to everybody 🥰

    • @jonasjo202
      @jonasjo202  3 года назад +2

      270- 320 bar is normal pressure. That code means weak pre-supply pressure. Take a look on diagnostics, it should read near 4 bar. If it's more, than bad sensor. If it's less, then weak pump in tank.
