Time to Process the Meat Chickens

It's Chicken Processing day and we are packing up our meat chickens to take them to be processed. We have been pasture raising these Cornish Cross Chickens for the past 9 weeks and now it's time to process the chickens for meat.
Follow along as we explore and learn to build a homestead in middle Tennessee. In 2016 we packed up our three kids and decided to leave suburban life in order to rediscover our love of outdoors, and learn the necessary skills to build a homestead from scratch. We made our chicken tractor so we could open both sides of the top. I figured when it came time to getting them out I would have to be crawling and reaching under the roof lol
