@@JaeFreshmen Jae much thanks. Ive been watching all your videos and you seem like a talented and stand up guy...This is not related to this video however Im curious about selling beats, particularly can you disclose an uncleared sample and the artist becomes responsible...or should I only be sampling from royalty free areas? A video about the sales process in regards to sampling would be great.
Just got into making beats, got the new MPC Key 37 - Came across your channel and really find your content helpful, especially for a beginner. Thanks and keep up the great work. Def earned a subscribe and all notifications on, along with the big thumbs up.
Just got the mpc one just trying to find the best way to get my boombap drum chops to sound authentic as I came from a circuit rhythm with a multitrack recorder so I would usually use auto mastering with auto compression I would do it manually somethings but not got a clue what dB things should be at so wanting learn more about this side as boombap drums need to be prosessed a certain way or they sound wrong...trap drums seem to be alot easier to do ..but I only f..k with boombap
Mann your tips were good! Then I went to air eq, found a preset called loudness and the drums went BANGING! I turned the gain down on the setting and they sound great! What did I do?
I like your tips, but you should let us know how to get to the areas of the Live 2 to insert those addons and other effects, because I was lost at times
How do you do it so you can do drums freely and record them, i have drums assigned to pads but it keeps looping, say for instance i wana do a 3 minute track of me freestyling drums hitting pads without it looping
on the sequencer bar on main screen where it shows your bars, right under it theres a loop icon and you can turn that off to play freely and it will add bars automatically when your recording
Always good videos. Such a good teacher!

Can you make a video about putting drums in “The pocket.”
like a drum bounce tutorial?
Whats a good BPM for trap?
140-160 primarily or even as low as 130 range

These plug-ins don't come with the ONE, right? I coulda sworn they weren't able to be used when I tried. I'll take another look
it should since the same software but i dont have a one so i dont really know
they do
So what level or volume should my beat be?
Not over zero so it doesn't clip and distort
