For stem separation I use the iOS app koala sampler. I screen record what sample I want to work with then import it and after use the stem separation feature that is built into the app then sample that inside of the mpc. Should take you no longer than five minutes.
Jae i was going to recommend you go check out Koala sampler, i honestly cant believe how crazy it is. So many sound design possibilities its unbelievable. Like a sp 404 but faster. I just hooked up a old korg pad kontrol and now i can finger drum and got the xy pad. Kob khun kop...
Bro good shit wow akai should be Endorsing you your tutorial are the best not hating on other but for me 💪🏽thanks bro haven’t been inspired to mess with my equipment but watching your tutorials give me hop to push 🙌🏽
Is there a way to do this method while using the vst version in a daw. I have mpc opened but when I use the sampler in the vst I get no audio coming in.
i literally don't think about that at all bro just create , average listeners most likely wont know the difference so imo why would i stress over that , sometimes producers listen to other producers to much vs the people that actually going to listen to it
Are you a digital nomad living in Thailand? Bro make a video about that! Also I am coming to thailand soon would love to make content music content with you or just hear about the hip-hop scene over there if you are willing to talk
The software is the same only difference is in the force, but still mostly the same. Hardware is a preference regarding what you like or do not like regarding buttons, I/O etc.
If you set your threshold low, how would you turn up the sample? Normalize? To what number do you set it to? Zero? Let me know , I don't want my samples too loud or too low , like a four bar drum loop .
Can someone please help me out? When working with a very long sample that I'm creating slices out of, how do I easily and quickly put an end to each slice? There has to be a faster way to throw and end on each slice without requiring me to manually slide the E all the way the hell over to that current slice! What I'm trying to do is slice up about 100+ different slices out of this long 10 minute sample I have. Of course it's super simple to place START points for new slices but I can't find a way to quickly put ends to those slices! It's one of the main reasons sampling is kind of stressing me out on my MPC X. Someone please help!
Maybe its a dumb Q , i just started 3 months ago and i want to order those cables in my country , but is it correct that the two 6.3 mm jacks are mono , and the 3.5mm is stereo ? Cuz i assume yhose two 6.3mm has to be stereo aswell , or is there not such a thing ?
Not a dumb question. I have similar cables, and the two 6.35mm 1/4" TS are indeed mono, as one is left, and one is right, that go to a stereo 3.5mm 1/8" TRS.
@@BeatsWithKev thanks bro. Then ill be ordering those. Its so much easier that way instead of downloading yhe song , convert to wav and put it on sd card.
I’d move there because you can get an amazing massage for cheap. And food is healthy. Even McDonalds has chicken nuggets made of actual pieces of chicken.
bro to be honest i dont think to much i just have it up on the phone and turn it down on the mpc if its to loud , i never care about the sonic the listener doesnt even care only producers

🐐🐐🐐🐐
Can i do this on the mpc live 1?
Is recording audio into the MPC better than just getting an MP3 file and chopping it that way?

Would you recommend this mpc for someone who doesn’t have experience with it? Been wanting to get one but I know it’s a lot to learn

Where can I save the sample at after it records from the phone❓

This is method and splice beat maker 😂 major hack
i keep mine down...
Can you do this with an Android?
yes you can , you just won't need an adapter unless android got a new port but there adapters for all of that
@@JaeFreshmen okay thanks 😊!!! I'm new to the beat making community. I welcome all the knowledge that you can provide.
This wont work for me in controller mode 🤷🏽
