Probably the best horror game ever made in my opinion They kept everything from the original game but expanded upon it It's the best remake i've ever seen. Almost everything you see in this game symbolizes something
Nah , unique of the OG is lost here. 2001 is all the way better than 2024 remake, it's just not bad

@FIREDAN075 The only uniqueness really lost is just the movement and camera angles. But this is just all a matter of Opinion. I am a die hard fan of the original. But I think they did a very good job with this remake.
Breaking literally every window in sight, and looking up above your head at cabinets, and tops of shelves will yield desperately needed drinks. Love yalls banter. 👍
I think this is the 8th "first playthrough" of SH2R I've watched, and every single one of the streamers has made the Roadwork joke, and it is delightful
one silent hill-iish game i enjoyed playing was Alan Wake, i wanna play the sequel but my internet out where i live is too crappy to download iit
alan wake 2 is actually a masterpiece
Check at your local library. If you're using a laptop or a console or downloading to an external hard drive, and the staff is nice, ask them if you can use their wifi for a download. Not all libraries will let you, but when I was stuck with crap internet, my library let me download stuff there, so it's worth asking.
I highly recommend that you pay attention to all the details and search everywhere

I've already watched the stream of this game. If I remember correctly, it lasts 13 hours. I have a great sentiment for this game, I played it as a teenager, with a whole group of friends (with a dictionary, because English is not my first language) we tried to solve the puzzles, imagine that, it was not easy.

yk i do like this game its like a solid 7/10 but i hate the combat so much i think the combat is maybe one of the worst pieces of combat ive had to endure 😭
Have you played the original? Or the other games in the series? I've only ever watched playthroughs of SH games, but to the best of my knowledge, the combat in this series has always intentionally been lacking. I believe it aided the horror element. Old-time fans would probably have something to criticise if the combat was too good.
It's meant to simulate your just a regular dude compared to similar games like Resident Evil you at least play cops or special forces
