Thanks for the video. I had a skateboard injury 20 years ago with this exact injury and I'm still stiff and have pain. The doctors here didnt really help me at all with any rehab but I later tried to go to rehab but after a few weeks the told me the rehab should be over so I had to continue on my own. it sucks. :( I miss skateboarding.
I did this two days ago playing soccer. I was preparing to go left then had to shift all of my weight onto my right leg and felt (and heard) a snapping sensation in my leg around 4 inches above my ankle bone. Immediately thought I had broken something, but an X-ray the next day did not show a break. Lots of bruising and swelling. Not sure why I felt a snapping sound though.
Hi there ive recently had a full width tear of ATFL and also a complete tear of the deltoid ligament and a partly torn CFL all at once. Can you give me any advice on what i can do ? Is this a long recovery?
Hi I have a MRI showing a deep ankle sprain of the deltoid ligaments and mild bone edema. A month ago. MRI team & physical therapist both said I don’t need surgery. However I just can not seem to get over this. Months of physical therapy regained range of motion but still can’t resume normal day to day life. Please leave me a comment on possible next steps. Also had steroid injection and one month medication. Early on.
Hi I have been dealing with a 1 year old ankle sprain and my MRI came back and states the following Low-grade deltoid ligamentous complex sprain. 2. Medial malleolus edema/contusion. 3. Chronic anterior talofibular ligament sprain. What can I do about this?

Hi - we can’t provide medical advice without an assessment, unfortunately.

These cases can be very difficult to manage - seek out a foot specialist
@@james_mccormack is there a specific kind of foot specialist?
it depends on the country you’re located
@@james_mccormack USA.
@@flextime6349 sorry I am only familiar with the UK healthcare system

I'm here because of an impact while playing footbal 😢
That’s quite a common cause - I hope the video proves helpful
@@james_mccormack Yes you did a great job.
Thank you, I've started the exercises. I'd see a doctor afterwards.
