Saw both in Dallas. I believe it may be my last time. I saw them first in 1964 at Santa Monica Civic and many times after that always a great show. Last time I saw all the brothers together was a short 3 or 4 song after a Dodger game. They did the National Anthem also
@Artur Belo What? He’s looking left, you dingbat. He INTRODUCES BW, yet you think him looking left somehow isn’t at the person he just introduced? As Dylan said- be a nice fellow.
How this cannot bring tears to anyone's eyes is beyond me. Mike and Dennis seemed to have a strong bond. Dennis appears to have been a bridge between Mike Love and his brothers. it looked as though Carl wanted a piece of Mike after the song but Dennis quickly intervened
It was actually Dennis who had the worst relationship with Mike. They had filed mutual restraining orders against each other right around the time of this concert. Carl is pissed at Mike, because Mike kicked Dennis' mic cord out of the aux because Dennis was fucking around with him. You can see towards the end, Dennis bends down and plugs it back in and laughs (taking it as a joke). He grabs Carl because Carl was pissed about him doing that with the equipment and messing the harmony up. You can see Carl still kind of yelling at Mike as Dennis pulls him into a bow.
Story is Mike hated Dennis because Dennis had an affair with Mikes daughter that’s why Carl got between them you can see Dennis giving mike the business singing and Mike appeared to not be in the mood
