  • Welcome to the first episode of Tandem Taco Tuesday! In this exciting new series, we kick things off by diving into the incredible journey of my old Toyota Tacoma. After selling it, the truck faced a tough fate and got rolled over. But that's not where its story ends. I managed to buy it back, and now, we're bringing it back to life!

I'm looking forward to this as I just started my 2nd gen Tacoma build. The one that got away for me was my first car. AE86 Corolla in red/black. The Supra was more fun, but I still wish I had the AE.

Any watcher of the OG Top Gear knows you can’t kill a Toyota Truck.

Let me know if you want to modify the flat bed. I don't have the drawings anymore but that hasn't stopped me before.

Pablo is familiar with this vehicle, for me it was a samba green 1993 Honda Del Sol Si. I miss it until it starts raining. Luckly i have no regrets with my truck.

@@TandemAutomotive got rid of it last year after it was stolen the 2nd time. Doing 4x4 stuff now. Currently driving a '23 Chevy Colorado. I know some good spots if you ever want to come up to Colorado.

My first car was a 1995 non-turbo MKIV Supra that I converted to a single turbo. I sold it at the absolute bottom of the market in 2012 and it would probably be worth 3-4x what I sold it for back then in today's market. Still have the VIN memorized too--JT2JA81J4S0026961. Last time I ran it a couple years back the records hadn't been updated since 2019. It's probably been totaled and sitting in a junkyard or rusting away in someones barn/garage. Only car related mistake I've ever made in my life.

stupid question but would yall do a swap for TRD Pro black valances on a brand new ORP if I bring in the parts? Dealership was gonna charge 750 for the parts and another 120 install. I'd do it myself but have no tools and I'd rather not mess my shit up lol
