@@ZukoShifu Well that is a poor comparison because in gun speak they say RPM, rounds per minute. Clips only apply to stripper clip fed weapons are generally older like m1 Garand or SKS. They are actually two different things entirely. I know very little about guns but knowing the basics and caring about facts and correct terminology helps someone not look like an idiot.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the sick attachments moist has for his rifle
That's a pretty typical AR setup. If you wanna see a sick AR setup, some people put stuff like 45 degree offset sights, mag couplers, remote pressure switches for WMLs, the Scopeswitch from Antimatter industries, magnifiers for reflex sights, underbarrel 40mm launchers and shotguns, suppressors, IR lasers that can only be seen via NVGs like the Steiner DBAL, and all kinds of other go-go gadget knick knacks. And I'm not even mentioning FRTs, Binary Triggers, and all the other internal modifications some people have.
And that's just in the realm of relatively practical accessories. I've seen people with ARs that have all manner of ridiculous crap on them that have no real purpose other than "it fits on the rails/mlok slots and it's cool"
To be honest, it's not super unique. Granted, they look great but, they aren't special.

Clips are what riflemen used in WW1 and 2 because magazines were too cumbersome and easy to lose and if you lost a magazine that was a pretty serious thing whereas losing clips was no big deal.
They're literally metal clips that hold 5 to 10 bullets. Very different from magazines.

That's right, but i have to add that magazine by definition is just a box that holds the cartridges and feeds them into the chamber. And before we got detachable mags that we all know today, older guns had integrated mags that coudn't be removed from the gun. So yeah, some of the guns during the war already had the removable mags, but as you said they were expensive and in the shortage, so soldiers oftentimes still used the clips to load them without detaching. But for the guns with integrated magazines the clip is/was the only option for faster reloading.
The modern example of guns that still mostly have integrated non-detachable magazines are pump and most of the semi-automatic shotguns.
