The real problem is, is that the younger generation have become lazy and complacent given all the ways things have now easier to do. from getting in touch with a friend or family or even accessing information (internet) before you had to get off your ass and go to a library and read a book.

Look at lack of values and lack of morals and the pitiful thirst for instant gratification because they cant fathom acccomplishing something as difficult as their true dream. Look at the hideous lack of WORK ETHIC and development of real PRIDE. Who was supposed to teach them?? Who IS teaching them.
I agree that your life is your responsibility, but how about you HUMBLE yourself- ARROGANT. Because look at the education system and cost of living and the messaging all over the media and the TRAUMA that every day people are put through on any given day and cheap diets because food costs so much. Even the middle class is struggling. Parents are busy- day care is expensive. Family and community support/comraderie is lacking. Resources are sparse.
Lucky for you, you had at least a few things working in your favor so that you were able to nurture your mind and think clearly. It's tough.
Delusional is thinking we are failures and losers and better off dead. Delusional is thinking that trying to improve our conditions for future generations isnt worth the effort or interest. So many things in this world influence us to think that way.

Drake is Kanye if he was Jewish with an identity crisis. Kanye is closer to PAC than Drake. His father was a panther, mother an educator.
Born in ATL and raised in the CHI.
This narrative of Drake v. PAC is one that I’m sure has been started and desired by Drake. He’s nowhere close in comparison outside of an acting career. Drake is closer akin to Will Smith, ironically.

I am a true fan of his art and his interviews the people who talk smack either don’t know or are often hating. his death row times misunderstood too in my opinion. He was in more trouble before death row times tbh that 91-94 era was insane for him if you look at all the things that happened or he was falsely accused of.

It’s the same with Ali vs Floyd. Ali may not be undefeated but he stands for so much for than just being a great boxer.

I feel like these Gen Z kids know nothing about the history of pac and his career,. A lot of people these days try to put down tupac just because he went to art school like a lot of inner city kids do lol, pac grew up poor with a family of black panthers, a lot his family members and family friends were locked up, he moved from hood to hood because his mom, afeni was paranoid that the FBI would track them down, pac cousin was a drug dealer so pac was familiar with the street life and even was partaking in the drug dealing from time to time. Just because his mom wanted better for him and enrolled him in a decent performance art school to better himself and make something of himself dont mean shit, he was still from the hood, he knew the struggle unlike drake. So to say pac was fake just because he went to art school is stupid lol, the guy grew up in tough areas where you had to know how to defend yourself, pac was the same his whole life, nothing fake about him, he was a complex individual and had many sides to him. There is even a story of pac pulling a gun on someone during art school after a fight, and this was wayyy before his rap career. i mean the guy always been like that lol, he was a loose cannon. There is no comparison to drake lol, pac would never let anyone slap him or piss on him like drake lol, win or lose pac would not let that shit slide come on now. What made pac different was he had a bit of everything, he had a lot of knowledge from growing up with black pantehrs and reading books as a child, he had a bit of street in him because of where he grew up and selling drugs and he also had an artistic side to him because of his time in art school. That is what made Tupac, Tupac.

*What part of any of this sounds like Drake?*
Parents were Black Panthers being terrorized by the FBI, the police put a gun to his mother's belly when she was pregnant with him. Mother was addicted to drugs and kicked him out age 14. 2Pac was selling drugs but he was bad at it because he was too empathetic, that didn't last but he was around street dudes growing up as a teen they pressured him to rap. Besides being shot 5 times and surviving, he also shot 2 off duty police officers. Why is he bald? 2pac had hair but he had to shave it because once the police beat him so bad that it wouldn't grow back properly. *WHAT PART OF ANY OF THIS SOUNDS LIKE DRAKE?*

What you guys don't get is that the white media was calling all black rappers *THUGS* Thug was like a replacement word for N__ger. So to people back in the 90s the word Thug made a lot of sense. But today the media dosn't use the word so often because their racism is more concealed. 2Pac was a thug considering how he was perceived to the white media at the time, he just leaned into it.
