    We are Driving in a PCA HPDE, running in Advanced 2.
    Me: The Driver in the 991.2 Carrera T. Stock 370hp, Nankang CRS. I saw Cameron Closing rapidly on the back straight in the 992 GT3. I was watching as he closed,, going into T13-T14. I moved a little wide for him approaching T15, but he did not actually get to me till T15 apex. To be predictable, I held the line on track out, moving left a little for him, ’Sending him by on the right turn-in-side approaching T16.

    Even the pro racing driver hits the wipers...lol. Still, pretty darned quick!

    They need to have a track mode option that disables the wipers

    Hi. The car looks really good with 19inch setup. Which exact size are they? Did you have to do any modification to the car to make it fit? Many thanks.

      @@christmasisawesome9348 - 19” Finspeed wheels. The only “modification” is to make sure the wiring harness by the rear wheels are zip tied away from the wheel and don’t use sharp wheel weights. I had some initial issues with high G turns pushing the cable into the heel and the weights cutting them with the rear wheel steer.
      Aside from that, no issues at all.

      @@raymort3 Thanks for replying. Are your rear wheels also 19"? Which size to be exacted if you don't mind? The website offers the sizeing from 19 x 9 to 19 x 13 with an inrement of 0.5. Did you have to fix the rake angle? Thinking of going with HRE, RC104 to be specific but not sure if their 19" would fit.

      @@christmasisawesome9348 - yes. 19s all around. I don’t recall the width. I adjusted pretty much everything on the car. The rake is just part of it all based on the springs, sway bars, compression/rebound settings. As I recall, the front was lowered to about the limit, and the rear was probably 5mm off that.

    You don’t have to lift on up shifts these days ?

      @raymort3  Год назад +1

      Yeah, it takes some getting used to, but performance MT cars now have what they call “no lift shift.”

      @@raymort3 that’s awesome. I am thinking of getting one later this year with a PDK, but this right here changes equation a little bit for me. Need to think some more. I’ve been focusing on motorcycles for so long that I am behind on some of the new tech in these cars. My PB in COTA aboard Panigale V4S is 2:24 flat. Seeing this fella going flat out through T2 and T10 is hard to comprehend. What a car !
