    Another great video that took me back to the time I experienced safari in Kenya, in 1988. It was a profound experience feeling the natural earth and the wild life. Since then I’ve never been able to go to a zoo. Animals in their natural environment are so robust and healthy. I wish to experience Zambia now. Thank you. I never miss your videos. 🥰

    Nice Video.I have been to all Norman Carr Bush Camps in 2012 & 2016. South Luangwa is my favourite Park in Africa. I was there several times in different Bush Camp and Lodges. My favourite of the 4 Norman Carr Bush Camps is Luwi Bush Camp. In 2022 I discovered for me 2 new Park in Zambia: Lower Zambesi and Kafue Nationalparks.

    This honestly looked like the best African Safari ever. Genuinely back to nature! So many animals close by! Crazy... the lodge was rustic but that adds to the genuinely luxury of being in such a place. Now I know where to go.

    The thing I like about your videos is the variety of resorts that you stay in. Not only do you travel to different continents, but the reports vary from 5* ultra modern hotels to more rustic lodges like this one. I fly out to Dubai myself on Wednesday and won't be back until just before Xmas, but I look forward to catching up on your travels when I return. Keep up the excellent reviews.

    Wouldn't wildlife preserve be more appropriate than "game preserve"?
    Unless it really is a game preserve for hunting.
    Game preserve reminds me to much of trophy hunting and animal slaughter which is obviously not the purpose of this resort, now..
    The resort is lovely in it's simplicity and the diversity of animals .
    Cheers,

    Isn't it a bit risky to be driving in an open vehicle with lions about? Especially at night?

    • @monikakovacs7658
      @monikakovacs7658 5 лет назад +3

      No. Lions don't approach or chase after vehicles because they don't see them as prey. If they are habituated to cars, they might come closer when the vehicle is stationary but even then they won't touch it. In South Luangwa animals aren't really habituated to vehicles though and are most likely to run off. Your real concern is to be able to view them before they run off.
      .
      The issue is around camps potentially, as rubbish bins are particular food supply. Kakuli also has its own watering hole which attracts lions in the dry season. Source: I used to work there.
