Does the 50mpg appeal to you? Would you buy a vehicle mostly for the gas mileage?
The best part of an hybrid is there almost no idle fuel loss. Every time you stop the engine stops but the A/C keeps running and keeps you comfy. Our Rav4 can "idle" (or run the A/C & radio) for about 15 minutes before engine kicks in.

MPG should be about 50 but its 34 !!!!
